Gideon was an Old Testament judge who was listed in Hebrews as one who did great exploits. History, however, has a tendency to sanitize events. We walk through Gideon’s events, his fears, his courage and his walk with God, drawing strength from his example. God was able to work with an individual who was fearful and asked for not one, not two, but three signs. He did, however, rise to the occasion. How do we rise to the occasion?
