Paul and Barnabas taught that tribulation is necessary in the Christian life. If Christ needed to suffer to perfect His character, can we, His servants expect any less? We all must experience certain trials to demonstrate our faith in God. We must learn to count it all joy when we go through trials. When we do we are building the joyful fruit of salvation.
