Becoming the Maker God Made Us to Be

There is an expression almost all of us have heard: "He's about to meet his Maker." "One day she'll meet her Maker." Almost without exception, we use that expression in a negative sense. It usually means Judgment is coming. The Bible absolutely teaches that every one of us will stand before God. However, we challenge the way we've allowed that expression to shape our thinking. The first thing Adam experienced wasn't judgment. It was the hands of the God who formed him and the breath of the God who gave him life. If the first conscious experience of mankind was the presence of the Maker, what kind of people were we created to become? What does it take to Become the Maker God Made us to be?
