Being a Veteran Christian in a World of Amateur Christians

Many professing Christians feel secure in their purported views of the Bible and their relationships with Jesus Christ. However, too many professing Christians lack a complete understanding of what it is like to be a "veteran" follower of Christ. This sermon identifies several defining differences between amateurs and veterans that we need to be reminded of.

Braden Veller has been an ordained elder for over 40 years, working with people in many parts of the country. His formal education includes degrees from the University of Vermont and Ambassador College and he also has certifications in integrative health care as it relates to addictions, issues of emotion, and recovery. Although he resides in Florida, he has lived in New England, California, and Atlanta. He is married with one son. With knowledge of Spanish, he and his wife Georgia also have been able to serve the church in multiple countries in Latin America.
