The Bible and Archaeology

Modern scholars have often taken a skeptical approach to the veracity of the Bible. Some assume that the events and descriptions found in it are pure legends or folklore. Is there evidence to support the biblical record? Dr. Steve Holladay presents a look at the approach that archeologists have taken and some of the startling evidence that has been uncovered in support of the biblical record. Note: Dr. Holladay provided a slide presentation that accompanied this sermon which he references in his remarks.

Steven Holladay is a professor at the University of Georgia, and also serves as Department Head, Biosciences and Diagnostic Imaging.
