Biblical Principles of Healthy Living

Over the past year we've heard a lot about the COVID-19 virus situation but almost nothing about the underlying health conditions usually accompanying a COVID death. We may tend to think that medical advancements have led us to nearly eradicating many diseases, but the leading causes of death, including heart disease and cancer, have been the same for many years. There are times when we get sick and need anointing, but what healing should we expect from God if we're not taking care of our health? We're now in the colder time of year when we tend to get sick and think nothing of it - but are we getting sick because we're neglecting our health? We've been told to do a lot of different things to protect ourselves from COVID, but we haven't been told to get healthy. So, let's look at some biblical principles of healthy living.

Len Martin was ordained in 1999 and is presently the pastor of the United Church of God congregations in London, KY, Knoxville & Kingsport, TN. Len has previously pastored congregations in Worcester, MA, Seabrook, NH, Cambridge, Columbus, Mansfield, and Dayton, OH.
