Brutal

When faced with a unique word in the bible, translators sometimes have to use their best guess on how to communicate an idea to us. As a result, there can sometimes be some nuance left on the table in passages that seem cut and dry. By looking at the word brutal in 2 Timothy 3, we can come away with a slightly different perspective on what it means, and how to ensure we aren’t following the same path in our lives today.
