Choose For Yourself This Day

Before the Exodus, the Lord struck Egypt with a series of plagues—some that affected both Egyptians and Israelites and some that impacted just the Egyptians. After hundreds of years in Egypt, the Israelites faced a choice of whether to obey God or suffer with the Egyptians before that final plague. Obey God or suffer the consequences of sitting on the fence. Likewise, we must choose. God will not allow a mixed devotion to Him continually. God will allow events in your life to help make this clear to you. Ultimately, there is either God’s way or there’s everything else—life or death.
