Toward the end of His three-year ministry, Jesus Christ took His disciples on a field trip to Caesarea Philippi. This location was off limits to “good Jews” due to the depravity associated with its pagan worship practices. This location contained a cave known as the “Gate of Hades”. It’s here that Jesus Christ taught His disciples important principles they would need to understand as the Church of God began.
