In northern Africa there is vast area known as the Sahara Desert. It is the size of the United States. Every so often you see a small green, an oasis. Listen as Mr. Mike Arritt compares the Church to an oasis in the desert.

Michael was an elder who most recently served the Roanoke, Virginia, congregation of the United Church of God, where he had served as pastor for five years. He and his wife, Rita, lived in Lansing, West Virginia. He was a retired chemist. They enjoyed hiking and biking.
