Elder Andy McClain examines three points to the dangers of distractions: distractions can take us off course, distractions make us vulnerable, and distractions can lead to sin. He also offers three steps to dealing with distractions: ask God for awareness, give it to God, and look for the lesson.

Andy grew up in God's Church in the Cincinnati, Ohio area and now lives in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Andy has AAS degree in Mechanical Engineering and a BA degree in Business and Technology. He currently is employed as a technical inside sales representative for a global distributor providing valves for chemical processes and natural gas transmission. 

Andy serves as an elder in the Indianapolis congregation with his wife and two adult sons.
