A Day of Substitution

Since the Garden of Eden, Satan has offered a way that is counter to what God created for man.  This substitute way of life replaced the good things God intended for man and instead has caused sin, separation and suffering for all mankind.  Animal sacrifices were offered, in place of a human life, as a way to be reconciled back to God.  Jesus became the perfect substitute when He gave His life for all mankind.  This day represents the time when Satan's way will be replaced by the eternal and peaceful reign of God.
