This Bible study continues with the “second sermon” given by Moses to the children of Israel just prior to their entering into the Promised Land. Chapter 7 begins by testing Israel’s fidelity to God. They are reminded that God would bring victory for Israel by delivering the nations into Israel’s hands, not because of the righteousness of Israel, but because of the sin and wickedness of those nations. Moses reminded Children of Israel of their dependence upon God by remembering God delivering them in past times and not to forget God in the good times when then enter the Promised Land
