Do You Know Who You Are?

The title today, Do You Know Who You Are? Do you know who you are? We're living in times in which every effort is being made in the most powerful institutions to strip you of an understanding of who you are. These institutions include multinational corporations, educational institutions, mass media, and government.

The movement is cloaked in the name of equality and justice. People are being branded, losing their jobs, banned from their profession. In the meantime, some of the most frightening themes that can be thought of are being forced upon the people of the world. And especially here in the United States, it seems to be worse than any other place. Congress just passed a frightful piece of legislation on equality and justice. And it's equality and justice basically for the LGBTQ community.

One of the tenets of the bill allows males who claim to be females to fully participate in girls and women's sports, from the playing field to the locker room to overnight lodging, the major corporations, government, mass media have joined forces to develop a type of tyranny that should cause us all great concern. I'm sure that you've noticed and bemoaned the fact that TV commercials are now running like five minutes. They used to run well way back, like one minute, then it was two, then it was three.

Now I timed the other day in one of the Fox's programs around five and a half minutes, in a little segment of about five minutes, and then another five-minute commercial. A great brainwashing program is being perpetrated upon the population. Voices are crying out, but they go unheeded. Government, major corporations, big tech, mass media have joined forces with the goal of forcing the masses to accept their agenda.

The prophet Micah prophesied of such a time in which society's norms and structures collapse. If you would, turn to Micah 7, and we'll begin in verse 1. Think Micah there is right after Jonah, Micah 7, verse 1. Micah 7, verse 1. Micah prophesied of such a time in which society's norms and structures collapse. The O what we call the Judeo-Christian ethics are collapsing around us. So in verse 1, in Micah 7, verse 1.

Woe is me for IMS, when they have gathered the summer fruits as the grape-gleanings of the vintage, there is no cluster to eat my soul desires the first ripe fruit. Of course, this could be used metaphorically for a famine of the word. This is a famine of the good man, the famine of traditional values, famine of the culture that you grew up in, the famine of the culture that you cherish, the famine of the culture that you felt safe in. The good man is perished out of the earth, there is none upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood, they hunt every man his brother with a net.

Oh, don't you dare speak out of turn. You have to speak what we tell you to speak. If not, we will wreak havoc upon you and your career, maybe your family, that they may do evil with both hands earnestly.

The prince asks and the judge asks for a reward, and the great men, he utters his mischievous desires, so they wrap it up. The best of them is as a brier. The most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge. The day of your watchman and your visitation comes now and shall be their perplexity. In other words, the day of the watchman, the day that the prophets, the watchman, the preachers, the teachers have warned them about.

Trust you not in a friend, put you not confidence in a guide. Keep the doors of your mouth from her that lies in your bosom. For the son dishonors the father, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, a man's enemies or the men of his own house. Therefore will I look unto the Lord. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. Of course, things have not yet devolved to that situation in a lot of households, majority, I would say, in the nation.

But of course, most murders are created or committed by people who know each other, and a large percentage of them are created within the family. Corporate entities own the major media corporations. Let me say that. Corporate entities own the media corporations. So they are able to stay on the air, they being whatever programming it is, because of the corporations sponsoring the program.

The bottom line is the bottom line. To some degree, it is all about money. To some degree, globalism is all about money. We want the money from all the world, not just part of the world. We are familiar with 1 Timothy 6 and verse 10. For the love of money is the root of all evil, which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Globalism hates America first. In the recent meeting of the world leaders in Davos, Switzerland, they made it clear that a great reset of the world's economic system was their top priority. Now I'm going to read an excerpt from CBN News. CBN is the Christian Broadcast Network.

They have excellent reporting, reporters stationed all around the world, and more objective than what you hear on the major networks. Dale Hurd reports, Hurd spelled H-U-R-D, quote, the great reset was unveiled at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where many of the world's most powerful people go to offer solutions to the world's problems. They have said that the coronavirus pandemic is a historic opportunity to change the way the world operates, and it has changed so dramatically.

The world has changed more in the past 10 months than it has changed in all of my lifetime. In decades, it's like overnight, we have a new culture before us. People generally don't scrutinize political campaign slogans because they always sound pretty good about something people want. Who wouldn't want to support hope and change? That to a large degree was what President Obama parroted when he was running for president. Who wouldn't want to make America great again? Oh, a lot of people!

That was what candidate Trump trumpeted and continued to through his presidency. Why on earth would the Biden-Harris campaign and the World Economic Forum share the exact same slogan? What does it mean, build back better? The Washington Examiner, a newspaper, calls it a Trojan Horse. Senior editor for the New American, Alex Newman, says the World Economic Forum is using the slogan, Build Back Better, to push the great reset and reinvent capitalism and promote contact tracing and end to private property, privacy, and even humanity.

Of course, Satan's goal is to break prophecy and destroy humanity. Newman writes, and Newman remembers from senior editor of the New American, quote, Over the last century, well over 100 million people were slaughtered by their own communist and socialist overlords, as those regimes fiendishly sought to centralize control over all property and resources in the hands of the elite, into the hands of the elites. In the Western world, some of the most powerful individuals of the last century have been working toward that goal on a global scale also.

But there is much more. That's the end of the quote. Yes, they love money. But more importantly for us, they seek to separate the peoples of the world from the sacred truths that are revealed in Scripture. We are at war. There is a great culture of war being waged. It has been being waged for quite a long time. The powers that be, coupled with the prince of the power of the air, have the goal of separating people from the true God, and it is prophesied. And oftentimes I have wondered about the beast power. Will it be? Will it parade as Christian? Let's read a few prophecies here. Let's turn to Daniel 11. Daniel would be back from Micah.

In Daniel 11, verse 31, we often note Daniel 11.31 as a hallmark Scripture because in Matthew 24, in verse 21, it talks about when the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be great tribulation and a countdown begins. Daniel 11.31, An arm shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, shall take away the daily sacrifice. At the present time, a daily sacrifice is not being offered.

So we have postulated for decades that a temple would be built, and the Jews would renew temple worship and offer animal sacrifices. And they shall place the abomination that makes desolate. Of course, Jesus Christ in the Olivet Prophecy refers to this placing the abomination that makes desolate. Verse 32, And such is due wickedly against the covenant, shall he corrupt by flatteries. So watch out for flatteries and flatterers. But the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits. And they that understand among the people shall instruct many, and they shall fall by the sword and by flame and by captivity and by spoil many days. Now when they shall fall, they shall be helped with a little help, but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. But some of them of understanding will fall to try them and to purge and to make them white, even to the time of the end. And in Daniel, I mentioned this, I think it was last week, that word end in Hebrew is kets, kets, to the time of the end because it is yet for a time appointed. A time appointed. Evidently God has appointed a time for this to happen. And the king shall do according to his will, he shall exalt himself, magnify himself above every god. This is very similar. We'll be turning to 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 very quickly after this. And you will note the similarity between this and 2 Thessalonians 2 and then later Revelation 13. But now we're in Daniel 11.36. He shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, above every god.

And shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods. What does that tell you?

And shall prosper till the ending nation be accomplished, for that that is determined shall be done. It is sure as the word of God. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god, for he shall magnify himself above all gods. As we'll read in 2 Thessalonians 2, he'll say that he is God. So the great goal in the ultimate sense by Satan is for you to be separated from the true God. Hence the title, Do You Know Who You Are? And can you maintain your identity through all of this? But in his estate shall he honor the God of forces, or munitions, and a god whom his father knew not, he shall honor with gold and silver and with precious stones and pleasant things. Thus shall he do in the most strongholds with a strange God whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory, and he shall cause him to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain. Now we go quickly to 2 Thessalonians 2, and we'll see how remarkably similar 2 Thessalonians 2 is to what we have just read here. In 2 Thessalonians 2, Paul and the early Christians apparently thought that Christ would return in their lifetime. In 1 Thessalonians 1 Thessalonians 2, Paul and the early Christians, Paul writes that 2 Thessalonians 2 will begin in verse 3. Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away in apostasia, in Greek apostasia. False teaching fall away, and that man of sin be revealed the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God. Similar to what we read in Daniel 11. Or that is worshiped so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Remember, you know, that when I was with you, I told you these things. So the similarity between the two is remarkable.

Separating you from the true God is the ultimate goal. The ultimate goal, of course, is your destruction. Then we go to Revelation 13. Please go to Revelation 13, verse 4. Revelation 13, verse 4. And they worshiped the dragon, and the dragon, of course, is that old serpent, Satan the devil. Revelation 12.9. And they worshiped the dragon, which gave power unto the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth, very similar to Daniel 11 and 2 Thessalonians 2, a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and power was given unto him to continue three and a half years, 42 months, and he opened his mouth and blasted me against who? Against God. The God, the true God. To blaspheme his name and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven, and it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them, and power was given unto him over all kindreds, tongues, and nations. It's a worldwide phenomenon. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of the life of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world.

God prophesied through Isaiah that we would lose this sense of identity, of who we are. Of course, some people talk about us being, you know, Israel in prophecy. That's fine. Talk about that. But there's a lot more.

So let's go to Isaiah 1 and verse 2. Isaiah chapter 1 and verse 2. What does God say about Israel, about Judah? In Isaiah 1 and verse 2.

Isaiah 1-2, Hear, O heavens, give ear, O earth, for the Lord hath spoken I have nourished and brought up children. They have rebelled against me. The ox knows his owner, and the doggy his master's crib. But Israel does not know. My people does not consider a sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corruptors. They have forsaken the Lord. They have provoked the Holy One of Israel and anger. They are gone away backward. And it continues to describe, much like you would be reading the daily newspaper. So what is the first identity that a person should realize about themselves? Would it be that they are the children of John and Jane Doe? Oh, my parents are such and such. You know, my parents, they trace their lineage back to the Mayflower. My parents, they trace their lineage back to one of the famous colonists. Maybe one of the first Supreme Justice, the U.S. Supreme Court, or whatever it might be. We have them. We are famous people. Would it be their home, their school, their education? And you've read about the scandals recently about celebrities lying, stealing, cheating, getting their children into the prestigious universities you have to get into. Stanford, Yale, Harvard, Rensselaer, Columbia, Brown, yeah, so on. Just a degree from there sets you apart. Their social status, their wealth, their material possessions, their political connections. So is that the greatest sense of identity that a person could realize about themselves?

Would it be their home, their school, their education, their social status, their wealth, their material possessions, their political connections? Oh, I know the President of the United States. I can go talk with him right now, some might say, and some could.

The godless theory of evolution is one of the main ploys that is being used to rob people of this sense of identity. Most of the peoples of the world have been robbed of a deep abiding sense of their identity, and there is a greater, more consecrated and concerted effort. Consecrated and concerted. Consecrated means it is really focused. Concerning means there are a lot of people together. Then ever before to rob all peoples of their sense of identity, wipe out culture, tear down all the statues, burn all the buildings of the past, wipe out the history.

To rob all people of their identity that sets them free from fear, ignorance, superstition, and the dogmas of man. That's what a true liberal arts education does, and the only true liberal arts education in that sense comes from the Word of God. As Jesus says in John 8, I believe it's verse 36, that if the Son sets you free, you should be free indeed. So what is this sense of identity that I'm talking about? Let's turn to Genesis 1.26. There are two senses of identity. To go hand in glove, you have to have this first one to come to the other because this understanding of God, of who He is, what He is, what is His purpose, who is man, what is man, what is His purpose.

They're all linked together. Verse 26, Genesis 1, God said, let us make man in our image, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowls of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth, and every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. Verse 27, God created man in His own image. In the image of God created Him male and female, created He them. He did not create them transgender.

He's the one that ordained marriage and family. He's the one that said, chapter 2, let a man leave his father and mother, cleave unto his wife, and the twain shall become one. Through this process, they are able to reproduce potential sons and daughters of God. So this act of creation, we become sons of God.

Look at verse 7 in chapter 2, the Lord God formed man at the desk of the ground, breathed in his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul. That is material. It is subject to sin and death. But we were created with certain faculties of mind and emotion that are akin to God. We can think. We can reason. We can even visualize the future in some sense about, are we going to live forever?

About immortality. So many things that we can think about. So many things that the human mind can create. Beautiful paintings, beautiful literature, music, and on and on it goes. The faculties of the human mind made in the image of God. Not of the same essence as God, as we shall see in James 3 verse 8. In James 3 verse 8, you see this very elementary, this first realizing that God created them male and female.

That is under attack. It's under attack that God created any human, whether they be male and female. The quote, Science of the Day, says that you were not created, that you evolved. And so if you don't understand that God is the great creator, then how can you do anything spiritual? So I ask you to turn to James chapter 3 verse 8. But the tongue can no maintain it is unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith, bless we God, even the Father, and therewith curse we men, which are made after the homeosis, the similitude of God.

And that is one of the reasons, as we shall read in just a moment from Matthew 5, why God said that you better not call your brother a fool, because they are made. Humankind is made after the image of God. Therewith, bless we God, even the Father, and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth, proceeds blessings and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. Then we go to Matthew chapter 5. In Matthew chapter 5, beginning in verse 21, we will pick it up there. Sorry I can't get this flim. We'll get into the habit of speaking and doing it after every verse.

In Matthew 5 and verse 21, We are made in the image of God, and even that understanding, God expects that to be honored. It's under attack that you were not created by God, that you evolved, and that even with the evolution, there is neither male nor female, and you just choose whatever you want to be. The fact that we were created in the image of God means, of course, that you owe your very existence to God.

He created humankind for a great transcendental purpose, to become members of his own family. We throw this around all the time, but do we really understand it to the death of our being? I heard a preacher who sounded pretty good on television yesterday. He was preaching away about why God had to send a Redeemer. It was because of God's righteous judgment he had to send a Redeemer to redeem them back, and all of that. But if he had just understood that it was a part of the plan and purpose of God before the foundation of the world, to create humankind, to provide a Redeemer, and that God was, in his plan and purpose, was going to bring forth a spiritual family. So he created humankind for this great spiritual purpose, to become members of his own family. It's far more important, that understanding than you might think. Think about it. Contemplate on it what it means. Don't let it slip. So why did God create you in his image with the faculties of mind and emotion that you possess? He created you that way because he deeply desires to share his very being with you. Your identity of being created in the image of God should be very important to you. It should be important to all of humankind. But I would say over half of the world's peoples now do not believe that God created them. You are not the result of a series of evolutionary phenomena. You are created in the image of God. That identity should be in your mind. To lose sight of that is to disrespect God and his love for all of humankind. Every human being can be called a child of God by creation. Now we go to the next level of who is a child of God. All the peoples of the world are children of God by creation. Every human being can be called a child of God by creation. As we have read, God created them male and female. As we have mentioned, God ordained marriage and family. Marriage and family in the reproduction process requires male and female.

But there is a greater identity. The twain shall become one flesh, making it possible for human beings to beget and bear children. In that manner, that same manner, that is through begatling birth, God has made it possible for male and female to become his begotten sons and daughters. Now I want to go to John 1 and verse 4. Let's go to John 1 and verse 4. John 1 and verse 4. And him was life, and the life was the light of men. John 1 and verse 4. I'm just turning left-handed here on this podium.

And the light shines in darkness, and the darkness comprehended at night. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the light that all men through him might believe. He was not that light, that is, John wasn't that light, but was sent to bear witness of that light. And that was the true light, which lights every man that comes into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came to his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them he gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name, which were born not of blood. See, everybody has the born of blood, nor the will of the flesh, nor the will of man, but of God. Born of God.

So who are you after being called, repenting, exercising faith in the sacrifice of Christ? Once again, who are you after being called, repenting, and exercising faith in the sacrifice of Christ? You are a spirit begotten child of God.

Now let's go to 1 John 3 and verse 1. 1 John 3 and verse 1.

The gravity of what I'm talking about seems so simple. They say that the Gospel of John was written on an eighth grade level, but is one of the greatest... If you just look at it from a literary point of view, it's one of the greatest pieces of literature ever penned. In 1 John 3, 1, Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us that we should be called the sons of God. Therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God. And it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we shall know that when he shall appear we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. What is he like? He is a glorious spirit being. That's what he is like. Now we go back to Romans chapter 8, or verse of the day, verses of the day. Romans chapter 8, and we'll do 15, 16, and 17. We'll read Romans 8, 15, 16, and 17. But not as the offense, so also offense, of one many. I'm reading from 5, not 8.

Romans 8 and verse 15.

For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the spirit of sonship. The old King James says adoption, and many translations do. The Greek word is wiozia. It literally means sonship. We literally have the essence of God in us. We shall see him as he is. What is he? We shall be as he is. He is a spirit being. So we have received the spirit of sonship, whereby we cry, Abba, Father, close, loving relationship. Da da da, ba ba ba, daddy, Father, close relationship. The spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.

And if children then heirs of God, so oftentimes we'll overread that, heirs of God will inherit something that he is. We're heirs of God, and join heirs with Christ. We call him our elder brother, so be that we suffer with him that we may also be glorified together.

Have you ever said to yourself, I am a spirit begotten child of God? Be nice for you to say that right now under your breath. I am a spirit begotten child of God. Have you ever just said to yourself and thought about it, I am a child of God?

Have you ever wondered and considered what it means, what that means and all it portends? I am a child of God. One of the things it means is how important you are to God and how much he loves you. I mean, he has brought you through many red seas, and he has brought you to the point that you are now. And we can all say, as the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15, I am what I am by the grace of God, by the grace of God, divine favor, because he so loved us. He loves you so much, he loves me so much that he gave his only begotten Son. The Son loved us so much that he gave his life.

God and the Son promises that they will never leave us or forsake us. Most people who call themselves Christian and even church members never really consider the role that God the Father and Christ the Son have played and are playing in their lives. Hopefully you have. I know the world just preaches, only believe in Jesus. Their roles of love, care, concern for you began before the world began, before time began.

During that time, they ordained the great plan and purpose of God, that is, to bring sons and daughters to glory in the family of God. But their role continues today 24-7. Every nanosecond of every hour of every day of every month of every year, your whole life. You know what a nanosecond is? Nanotechnology is coming in. Now, a nano is one billionth of a second.

So if you divide a second into billions, a nano is one billionth of a second. Let's turn to Hebrews 7, verse 25. This role, this role 24-7, every nanosecond continues all the while. You are a begotten child of God. You are a son of God. That is a sobering thought.

It should give comfort. It should give a sense of safety. Hebrews 7, verse 25. Now look at Ephesians chapter 1. Ephesians chapter 1, and verse 1, we'll read into the main thought here. Ephesians chapter 1, verse 1. Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, not the will of man, the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, saints, or the holy ones, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus. Grace be unto you, divine favor, peace from God our Father, from the Lord Jesus Christ, blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with spiritual blessings and heavenly places in Christ.

In verse Thessalonians chapter 1, verse 13, he says that he has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. According as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy without blame, before him in love, having predestined us unto the sonship of children by Jesus Christ himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. Yes, God was very actively involved in you being where you are today.

Maybe you came in because of your parents or other family members, or neighbors, or friends. Some just came in, called out of this world like I did. I didn't have anybody that I knew that remotely was. Didn't think that the Baptist was the only religion on earth. Now look at Ephesians 4.30. Ephesians 4.30. For we are members of his body, of his flesh, of his bones. That's 5.30. Now I'm going to read 4.30. And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby we are sealed unto the day of redemption, when we are resurrected as spirit beings. Grieve not! Don't trouble the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Now let's notice James 1 and verse 17. James 1.17. And then we'll come back to 1 Peter 1. In James 1.17, Every good gift, every perfect gift, is from above, comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no wearableness, neither shadow of turning, of his own will beget he us, with a word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creation. So have you said, under your breath, I am a child of God?

It is a sobering kind of thought to just contemplate. Now let's look forward just a page or so to 1 Peter 1 and verse 4. 1 Peter 1.4. Well, I want to read into that. I want to read from verse 1. 1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the stranger scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, elect according to the foreknowledge of God, the Father, elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ, grace unto you and peace be multiplied.

Blessed be the God and Father, O Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible, undefiled, that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you. For brethren, it is very sobering what God has done for us, of his own will, but yet he us with the word of truth. I think we spend too much time worrying about whether we're going to become unsealed.

We read that he has sealed us with the Holy Spirit. God has promised the faithful that he will never leave them or forsake them. Upon repentance he is faithful in just to forgive us of all unrighteousness. So what can we say about our relationship with God in Christ?

Is it a close, warm, and loving relationship that is free of fear and anxiety? Can we ever just relax and enjoy the peace of God and say and fully realize, I am a child of God? Or are we so consumed with worrying about making peace with God that we never experience the peace of God? Do you really understand, do you really reverence and respect who you are? You are a child of God. You are safe in the arms of God and Christ if you continue to be faithful.

The peoples of the world need to wake up to the fact that the real battle is for their very life essence. The problems the peoples of the world are facing raises an even greater danger, a more urgent threat. And that is the failure of leadership to address these concerns. And so we need to address these concerns to make you aware of them. I know you're aware of them because virtually every person you talk with says, I can't believe. I can't believe what is happening to our country, to our nation, to the whole world.

None of the problems we face can be solved without effective leadership. It seems to me that there is an unconscious conspiracy to discourage and suppress genuine leadership. And one of the great paradoxes of our time is that people speak of individualism, but at the same time they're given to conformity. That is, the hurting instinct to go along with the crowd. To lead is to make oneself vulnerable to the criticism of the conformers. And anyone who dares to take a stand is dismissed as some kind of oppressive fanatic who needs to be reprogrammed. It's the old who made you ruler over us. You remember the story of Moses after he delivered the Israelite from the Egyptian and wound up killing the Egyptian, burying him in the sand. Next day he saw some striving and tried to intervene. That old lie, who made you ruler over us? Well, brethren, we need to be leaders of one another.

The prophet Isaiah describes our plight in Isaiah 59 and verse 4. Yet at the same time, you see how I'm about to read the scripture, Isaiah 59 and verse 4, how diametrically opposed this scripture is to the mantra of the day, which is equality and justice.

Isaiah 59 and verse 4, Therefore, as judgment far from us, neither does justice overtake us. We wait for light, but behold obscurity for brightness, but we walk in darkness.

I've got to read 59.4 and read 9. 59.4, none calls for justice nor any pleads for truth. They trust in vanity, speak lies. They conceive mischief and bring forth iniquity. Then 9, which I've already read, therefore it's judgment far from us. Neither does justice overtake us. We wait for light, but behold obscurity for brightness, but we walk in darkness. But the great irony of the day is that that is the cry, but yet it is not the reality. So what about you? What about me? Are we going to let Satan and his agents steal our identity from us? Or will we wake up to the fact that we're engaged in a great spiritual battle, spiritual warfare? And it is for our very being. The battle is for you, for your very being, your life essence, your potential for eternal life. Now we know what the Apostle Paul writes, which we have referred to so many times, and it is ever meet in due season. And that is Ephesians 6, beginning verse 10. Ephesians 6, beginning verse 10, where the Apostle Paul writes, And here he identifies who the real enemy is, but the real enemy now has the majority on his side. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, in the power of his might. This is Ephesians 6.10, now 6.11. Ephesians 6.11. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, for a rush of light against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Spiritual warfare being waged, wherefore, take unto you the whole armor of God. See, if you're going to have spiritual warfare, you've got to have spiritual weapons. Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 10, that the weapons of a warfare are not carnal, but mighty, to the pulling down of strongholds. Shall we put on spiritual weapons?

Verse 13, wherefore, take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand, in the evil day, and having done all to stand, stand. Having your loins gird about with truth, having on the breastplate of righteousness, your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. That means you are ready, willing, wanting to take the gospel to the world. Your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith you'll be able to quench all the fiery darts of Satan. Why is that so? Because you know, and know that you know, if you have faith, that God will deliver. Take the helmet of salvation. Now, in 1 Thessalonians 5.8, the helmet of salvation is defined. It is hope. It says, put on the helmet of salvation, which is hope. That's quoting 1 Thessalonians 5.8. Take the helmet of salvation, which is hope, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching dear unto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. So will you, will I, have the identity of God the Father and Jesus Christ when the bridegroom knocks on our doors? Or will we receive the mark of the beast if we are alive at that time? Will we cave in? Will we go along with the crowd? Or will we stand? At the very end time, there will be two basic responses by the one who checks your identity. Number one, this is the one we want to hear, which we heard in the sermonette.

His Lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over a few things. I will make you ruler over many things. Enter you into the joy of the Lord. And then the other, which we don't want to hear, and then will I profess unto them, I never knew you, depart from me, you that work lawlessness. So will you make your identity sure? Will you make your calling an election sure? Will you, will I, have the right ID, the right identity? Will we know who we are when the bridegroom knocks on the door? We are a child of God.
