Does Colossians 2 Do Away with God's Law?

If we look at verses 13, 14, 16 and 17 in context in Colossians, and in the historical context of the time, it shows Paul, rather than saying God's law is done away with, is affirming that obeying God's law is a requirement for a Christian.
