What kind of friend are we? Are we one who gives a friend what they WANT to hear or what they NEED to hear? Job had three friends who tried to help Job through his troubles, yet it was the fourth friend, Elihu, who waited to present to Job what he needed to hear. Which friend are we?

Fred Crow is an elder with United Church of God; pastor of the Eureka and San Jose, California congregations. Fred retired from the aerospace industry in 2015.
