Experience is a Powerful Learning Opportunity

The Panama Canal was a tremendous human endeavor that the United States took over when the French ended their efforts.  Its purpose was to connect the Pacific Ocean with the Gulf of America (Mexico) in order to greatly facilitate world shipping.  The work proved to be daunting.  An important lesson emerged from which we can learn - life can be much more difficult than it may appear simply by watching other's efforts.
