Eye of the Needle, Navigating Life With Humility

As we look at all of the choices and options in life, we can be overwhelmed. The world sees hard work and prosperity as being successful. Wealth is all we need for happiness, but we find a specific story where Christ tells a young, rich ruler to sell all he has and follow Him. Does that mean we shouldn’t work hard? Not at all!!! We are to have humility when God blesses us from our labor. A humble heart will keep us from pushing God aside and saying I want and have control. This takes a transformation though. We don't just wake up one day with this attitude. The Bible is filled with men and women who were diligent to make the necessary changes. Are you going to?

Joshua Creech along with his wife Lizzy live in central Indiana. He serves as Pastor for the United Church of God congregations in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Indiana. Joshua worked for 9 years as a Senior Financial Accountant for Western and Southern Financial Group. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northern Kentucky University.
