The Days of Unleavened Bread are connected to the Feast of Pentecost by the Wave Sheaf Offering and the 7 weeks plus one day that follow it. Because Christ is accepted by God as the first wave sheaf, the first of the first-fruits, we are also accepted by God as part of the first-fruits to God. Understanding this truth helps us to appreciate how important is our calling in this part of human history.
