Since the moment I heard this wonderful sermon, every time I read the word firstfruits or hear someone say the word firstfruits I automatically think of this sermon. That was a year ago and my statement still holds true. There are so many agricultural analogies in the bible. God presents everything to us so we can clearly understand, or maybe at times more for the people of an earlier time to better understand, but He always makes His points clear. This sermon will do that for you. You will be very clear on what being a firstfruit means. We are the first proofs of God, we are proof of what is to come! What an awesome honor and responsibility!

Rick Beam was born and grew up in northeast Mississippi. He graduated from Ambassador College Big Sandy, Texas, in 1972, and was ordained into the ministry in 1975. From 1978 until his death in 2024, he pastored congregations in the south, west and midwest. His final pastorate was for the United Church of God congregations in Rome, (Georgia), Gadsden (Alabama) and Chattanooga (Tennessee).
