From Firstfruits to Fullness - Accepted, Count Begins

Framed by Leviticus 23:10–17 (ESV) "Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land that I give you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest, and he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, so that you may be accepted… You shall count seven full weeks… You shall count fifty days ..." - this message traces how our Father’s appointed pattern is fulfilled in Jesus Christ: His completed work, His rising at the close of three full days and nights, His ascension and acceptance as the firstfruits, and the beginning of the count toward fullness; it calls us to recognize that we live within this unfolding sequence, sustained daily by Him as our Bread of Life and moving intentionally toward what our Father will bring to completion. What does it mean for us that Jesus Christ was accepted as the firstfruits and began the count toward fullness? The answer anchors us in both assurance and action, as we live from acceptance, walk with purpose, and remain connected as one body, looking toward the promised completion summarized in Philippians 3:20–21 (ESV) - "Our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself."
