God intervened for Israel with astounding power, but sadly, in their hearts of unbelief they turned back to Egypt. We must never turn back to the things which once enslaved us. By faith we must continue our journey to the Promised Land. There are many lessons for us in the exodus of Israel from their bondage in Egypt. These are written for our examples that we may apply them in our lives.

Andy Diemer is the pastor of the Fort Myers, Florida congregation and the associate pastor serving the congregations in Ft. Lauderdale and Vero Beach, Florida. He served as the pastor of the churches in New England from 2014 to 2021. He was baptized into the Church in 1981 and ordained as an elder in 2011. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Cleveland State University. He had a thirty-year career in manufacturing before being hired by the UCG in 2014.
