Galatians and the Law - Part 2

The main point of Galatians is that a person is not justified, or made righteous, by obeying the law. Instead we are justified by our faith in Jesus Christ (taken from Galatians 2:16). We realize though that having faith in Christ is just a part of the conversion process. Keeping God’s immutable law is required to be in God’s kingdom, and that law tells us what sin is. However, no law of itself will make us right with God. Only by continually repenting of our sins and faithfully claiming the shed blood of Christ to cover our sins will they be forgiven, will we truly be justified, made right with God. These are the main lessons we can learn from Galatians.
