The basic story of the pre-flood society is about the family of Cain opposed to God and that of Family of Seth, who were the preachers of righteousness who maintained a relationship with the creator God. We are shown TWO ways of culture in this pre-flood society; the way of God which was preserved in the family of Seth, and the way of Satan which was promoted by the descendants of Cain.
