We need God's Salvation. The ancient Israelites received a physical type of salvation in exchage for their obedience to God's Law. Following Christ's perfect sacrifice, spritual salvation was offered to Christians, not in exchange for obedience to the Law, but by believing that Jesus is the Son of God, that He lived a perfect life in the flesh, was crucified, was in the grave for three days and three nights and that He was resurrected and now sits at the right hand of God the Father. Our belief and faith in that sacrifice allows us to receive the gifts of God that include God's Law written on our hearts, the Holy Spirit within us and Eternal life to come.
