Speaker: Fred Crow 11/28/20 In 1783 the Continental Congress of the New United States instituted a day of prayer and Thanksgiving for the blessing God provided. Down through the years people forgot why the day was established talking of Turkey Day, football, and Black Friday sales. God speaks of being thankful throughout His word; God wants us to be thankful so as not to forget our God. Pls. Fred Crow is an elder with United Church of God; pastor of the Eureka and San Jose, California congregations. Fred retired from the aerospace industry in 2015. He has two daughters and eight grandchildren. He wrote a newspaper column, was a published cartoonist, taught scuba diving, and is a writer, photographer, and traveler.
