The purpose of the message is that we come away from the message encouraged and uplifted with the renewed faith that God protects those who put their trust and faith in God.
King David from an early age trusted God and wrote in
Psalm 25:1- 3 -
To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul. 2 O my God, I trust in You;
Let me not be ashamed;
Let not my enemies triumph over me.
3 Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed;
Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause
King David in the Psalms he wrote, has a recurring message of trusting in God in difficult times.
An aspect of the message is for us to trust God in difficult times.
Let’s review seven accounts from Genesis to Revelation of God’s protection and care for his people and renew faith in God, which results in our Trust in God and deliverance and protection
Before we do that let’s establish a core foundational truth, found in 2 Timothy 2:19 that connects the examples we will review today.
2 Tim 2:19 - Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
