God Remembers We are Dust

We read in Psalm 103:13-14 "As a father pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. " This momentous and encouraging statement—that God will not forget our formation—can help us realize just how much He understands how life can often be difficult for those who choose to devote themselves to Him. As a result, He provides significant help to His people through the power of His Holy Spirit, to face up to and prevail over their weaknesses (1 John 3:24, Romans 8:26).
