Seven major points in understanding God's grace. Some major points: Jesus during His earthly ministry was the perfect example of grace, as He reached out to everyone--the sick, handicapped, poor, women, children, etc. He loved the unlovables. And He was willing to go through dis-grace so we could have grace. Being in God's grace is a special and favored category. God looks upon us as His sons and daughters. We receive more mercy, not less. To continue to be in God's grace, we must exercise grace and forgiveness toward everyone. We must be gracious to one another.

Don Hooser

Don Hooser is a minister and writer for the publications of United Church of God.  He lives in McKinney TX, a suburb of Dallas.  He was born in Dallas and grew up mostly in east Texas.  His beloved wife Elsie, originally from Detroit, Michigan, died in August 2020.  Don's three children and their spouses are members of United Church of God.  Mr. Hooser graduated in 1963 from Southern Methodist University with a degree in mechanical engineering, and graduated in 1966 from Ambassador College, Big Sandy. Don and Elsie married two days after Don’s graduation.
