Good Enough Isn't

In this world, we are urged to settle for "good enough" - which is being promoted as a way of life. An attitude of "good enough" allows us to have an exit strategy from excellence and to step away from standards. Is that a valid lifestyle? God's standards are eternal standards. The Christian walk requires that we strive for excellence in godly living and righteousness, endeavoring to love God with all of our heart, soul, and mind.

Fred Crow is an elder with United Church of God; pastor of the Eureka and San Jose, California congregations. Fred retired from the aerospace industry in 2015. He has two daughters and eight grandchildren. He wrote a newspaper column, was a published cartoonist, taught scuba diving, and is a writer, photographer, and traveler.
