In the parable of the Sower and the Seeds, Christ compares the teaching of the gospel message to the spreading of seeds. Not all seed will fall on good ground where it can take root. The gospel message must grow in the hearts and minds of those who hear it, but those new plants must have good ground if they are to thrive. Are we as a church that "good ground" where God can plant new seeds? In this sermon, David Jones discusses how we can prepare ourselves to be that "good ground" where God may plant new seeds.
David Jones is pastor of the congregations in Denver, Loveland, Colorado Springs and Frisco, Colorado. He lives with his wife Joy, their daughters Sarah and Grace, and their son Isaac.
