The marriage ceremony includes the couple's commitment to be faithful in good times and in bad times. As the bride of Christ, we in the Church must make the same covenant with God. The lessons of Passover and Unleavened Bread emphasize that commitment.

Since 1972 Randy has served congregations in California, Colorado, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada , Arizona, New Mexico and is now back in Colorado. Randy and his wife Kay have presented "Marriage and Relationship" seminars in United Church of God congregations and Feast sites in the US and other parts of the world. They also implemented the "Deuteronomy 6 Youth Instruction lessons and Family Guides" for the United Church of God. Randy is currently retired - but serves as an associate pastor for the Albuquerque congregation, and as an elder in Colorado Springs..
