The Old Testament is loaded with stories of people who picture Jesus in some aspect of their lives. We read stories which parallel the great work that Christ will do to establish His kingdom. We see Jesus' redemption of mankind in the story of Boaz and Ruth. We see the seventh day Sabbath and Holy Days point to aspects of Jesus' ministry. We see the life of Jesus foreshadowed in the Tabernacle, in its furnishings, and in Tabernacle rituals like sacrificial offerings. All these are "types" in the Old Testament that point to Jesus in some way. In this message, we examine a few familiar types, and we begin to see the Gospel everywhere in the Old Testament.
