The Gospel is the good news of mankind’s ultimate destiny, which is to inherit the kingdom as God’s spiritual sons and daughters. It is also the good news of what has been done for us (Christ’s life, death, and resurrection), and what we must still do (Obeying God’s law, overcoming sin, becoming purified) in order to gain entrance into the kingdom of God.

Jim serves as an elder in the Big Sandy (East Texas), Texarkana, TX, and Ruston, LA congregations. He and his wife Laurel also enjoy traveling and visiting other UCG congregations. He attended Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas from 1990 – 1994 and currently works in the IT department of a local hospital. He enjoys watching and playing sports, and loves working with children.  He and Laurel direct UCG preteen Camp Gilmont.
