The Great Pressure

Tribulation is described as "pressure" in the New Testament. We know from prophesy that there will be tribulation (pressure), and a time of great tribulation (great pressure) such as this world has never known. It is easy to see the pressure being turned up as this world races towards the end times. Satan seeks to divide, distract and destroy as he increases his attacks. God’s people have to be aware of what is happening and decide to let pressure and tribulation have a different work. Pressure and heat can also soften, refine and make precious. It is up to us if the pressure causes us to implode, or if we will be like diamonds and made “unconquerable”.
