Guiding Principles for Preaching the Gospel

Proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and the coming Kingdom of God is a divine commission given to the Church. After His resurrection, Christ directed His followers to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15) and to “make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20). GUIDING PRINCIPLES Scriptural instruction is the foundation of UCGIA’s public proclamation efforts. The biblically-based principles that follow will guide the Church in all its media activities.
