This Bible Study of Haggai deals with the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem.  After the captivity of the Jews by the nation Babylon, Babylon fell to the Medo-Persian Empire and the Jews were allowed to return to Jerusalem.  God, through Haggai, tells the Jewish people their sins have caused God to remove His blessings from them and He now instructs them to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem.
