INTRO: God has a Purpose He has been working on in past eternity and that will extend His Gift of His Perfect, Loving Sharing of HIS Life into eternity.

Our part in God’s Plan is HIS Process of “Salvation”  God’s Plan IS HIS ULTIMATE Salvation …for which GOD has Created US!

The scriptures reveal that God has a Purpose – a Plan.

Ephesians 1:5 (NKJV) 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

BENEFIT STATEMENT:  Revelation 20:6 (NKJV) 6  Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

SPS: WE will be caught up together with Christ to come with Him for His second coming …and this time …                           He Will Appear a Second Time for Salvation

BODY: God’s Chosen Ones at Christ’s Second Coming are Given THE ULTIMATE Salvation.

1. Christ Appears a Second Time …and ULTIMATE Salvation is Fulfilled and Consummated! (Heb 9.28)

Hebrews 9:28 (NKJV) 28  so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.   

[THE Ultimate Salvation (Deliverance)]

WHY would Christ tell a small Group all this, leave, and then come a second time?   

Christ will come back a second time and then he will not be concerned with [offering for] sin. The thought is that sin was dealt with finally at his first coming. There is nothing more that he should do. The second time he will come "to bring [Ultimate] salvation." There is a sense in which salvation has been brought about by Christ's death. But there is another sense in which it will be brought to its consummation when he returns. Nothing is said about unbelievers. At this point the writer is concerned only with those who are Christ's. They "are waiting for him," where the verb apekdechomai expresses the eager looking for the Lord's coming so characteristic of the NT.

What would the sins of the “many” be? …Not thinking and being as God “IS”.   Not Sharing the GOD-LIFE within them but holding Life to self instead of knowing God is their Superior Who is Creating their Purpose!

John 14:6 (NKJV) 6  Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except

John 6:39-40, 44, 54 (NKJV) 39  This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40  And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day."    44  No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.  54  Whoever eats   My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

Ephesians 1:13-14 (NKJV) 13  In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14  who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.      [THE Ultimate Salvation]

“Very Good” Life - ((((Genesis 1:31 (NKJV) 31  Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

God’s Purpose for humankind is to bring many sons and daughters into glory in His Kingdom.

1 Thessalonians 2:10-12 (NKJV) 10  You are witnesses, and God also, how devoutly and justly and blamelessly we behaved ourselves among you who believe; 11  as you know how we exhorted, and comforted, and charged every one of you, as a father does his own children, 12  that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.

Therefore, Giving and Sharing Themselves with ALL with all who are willing to share God’s Life.

1 Peter 1:3-5 (NKJV) 3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4  to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5  who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

The “Glorious Liberty of the Children of God” is pictured by the Day of Trumpets (Rom 8:19-23)

Romans 8:19-23 (NKJV) 19  For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20  For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21  because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22  For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. 23  Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

This DAY brings into existence ALL things working for God’s GOOD Purpose

Romans 8:28 (NKJV) 28  And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

The Purpose? To BE conformed to the Image of His Son!

That HE might BE the firstborn among MANY Brethren show Share God’s Very Good Life with ALL.

Romans 8:30-39 (NKJV) 30  Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

God is Sharing His “Very Good” (Gen 1.31) Life-Sharing Way BY and OF Joining WITH God! This is God’s PLAN!

John 17:20-26 (NKJV) 20  "I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21  that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22  And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23  I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. 24  Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. 25  O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. 26  And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them."      

His Purpose for His Children is to BE as He IS.

Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2  Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3  And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

((((Performing all this IN and WITH us in God’s Sharing Family Kingdom  ((((2 Corinthians 6:16 (NKJV) 16  And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people." 

To BE alive in REALITY instead of existing in vainly imagined, deceived, self-will …IS to be ALIVE FOR Others and WITH Others by GIVING and SHARING the Life IN You! ALL To God …Who thinks and lives differently.       

THIS is reasonable …because THIS is Reality!

Romans 11:33-36 (NKJV) 33  Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! 34  "For who has known the mind of the LORD? Or who has become His counselor?" 35  "Or who has first given to Him And it shall be repaid to him?" 36  For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

Romans 12:1-5 (NKJV) 1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. 3  For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. 4  For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5  so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

ALL those Who Have Lived God’s very different True Eternal Way will BE …ruling/serving WITH “Very Good” Life-Sharing WITH God !

NLT Ephesians 2:4-6 4 But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God's grace that you have been saved!) 6 For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus."

Loving – therefore sharing, sacrificing, giving of ourselves …and replenished by God IS the LIFE of God

Ephesians 4:13-16 (NKJV) 13  till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14  that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15  but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ-- 16  from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

The Godly Enabled Dedication of such a Called Out One -results in being with Christ’s Return!   HOW it is DONE:

 Philippians 3:7-11 (NKJV) 7  But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. 8  Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9  and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; 10  that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11  if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Philippians 3:14-16 (NKJV) 14  I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 15  Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. 16  Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind

CONCLUSION: There is a New Beginning for ALL coming WITH Christ. It brings fulfilled Salvation FIRST to the ONES eagerly waiting for His Return!

James 5:7-8 (NKJV) 7  Therefore be patient [makrothymeō - to be enduring, long-spirited, longsuffering], brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. 8  You also be patient. Establish [stērizō – fix, steadfastly SET]
your hearts [kardia – your thoughts, feelings], …(WHY?) …for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

(((Revelation 21:3-4 (NKJV) 3  And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.(Lev 26.12; Jer 32.8; Ezek 37.27)

Romans 8:16-18, 24-39 (NKJV) 16  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17  and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. 18  For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Romans 8: 24  For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25  But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. 26  Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses.
