An Historical Perspective of Church-Wide Fasting

What happens when we collectively fast?  Especially when we are not in "crisis" mode?  A church-wide fast provides the momentum for God to accomplish good things since we are collectively asking God to be very involved with us and showing Him that our hearts are focused on this work.

Braden Veller has been an ordained elder for over 40 years, working with people in many parts of the country. His formal education includes degrees from the University of Vermont and Ambassador College and he also has certifications in integrative health care as it relates to addictions, issues of emotion, and recovery. Although he resides in Florida, he has lived in New England, California, and Atlanta. He is married with one son. With knowledge of Spanish, he and his wife Georgia also have been able to serve the church in multiple countries in Latin America.
