What is our Hope that we have Confidence and Rejoice in and that we Hold Fast to firmly to the End.
When scripture instructs us to "hold fast" to something, it is scripture crying out to us to pay attention.

iii. Put a firm grip around it.
iv. Cling to what is being read!
