HOLY IS COMING!

Title of my sermon is, Holy is Coming. Holy is coming. Are you prepared? Do you want it? You know, at one time it existed. There was a place on earth that was actually called the Garden of Eden. And the Garden of Eden was this beautiful place. I don't know how you picture it. I like how Dave pulled this up for it and kind of got this. I could picture myself frolicking and that, hanging out. Yes, getting under the waterfalls. Being the temperature would be just right. But it's a place that we can only dream about, can't we? It's a place that Adam and Eve got a chance to experience before they didn't get to experience it. It's a place where Scripture says that even God, they heard him walking in the cool of the day. It's a place we think about every year at the Feast of Tabernacles, don't we? Because we picture that time as we should. It's also a time when most people don't think about the three crosses, the three stakes that were in Gogotha that day. Perhaps you have thought about it, but a lot of people don't, because in the 23rd chapter of Luke there is a description as one of the supposed murder-slash-thieves was hanging next to Christ as Christ was dying. And he mentions, remember me in Paradise as a Scripture is translated Paradise. Most people don't even realize that the original Greek, and you go back to the original Greek, the translation was the Garden, referencing the Garden of Eden, because that was the ultimate in people's minds, as they should be in ours as we look forward to the kingdom. Isn't that what it says?

Seek first the yes, as is something we should. But holy was there in the Garden of Eden till it wasn't. Holy was there to mount Horeb at the foot of it when Moses went walking, and he saw a burning bush, didn't he? And he's saying, how did that happen? Because it wasn't burning up. Just there was a fire inside, so he turned and walked towards it.

And that voice came from that burning bush. Moses! Moses, take off your sandals for the ground in which you walk is holy. Holy. Moses was in the presence of holy. Holy was there. Holy was something that he had not encountered before. It's something he learned from. There was a significant time down through the years in the last 6,000 years where holy was there, was here, was there on earth at that time. God pointed it out. Not many realized truly what holy was. Some today don't even realize what holy is. We're going to go through that today, so I will try to jump through these scriptures, because I want to help you to picture just how special it is to know holy. To be able to read about it, to see it, to experience it, and to anticipate when holy is coming on this earth again. Go with me if you will, because we all know that as Moses was taking and took from the holiness of this bush, and he was able to be taught by God, and God freed these slaves from Egypt, and he told them as they wandered for 40 years, you're going to get to see holy, because there was a cloud during the heat of the day that covered the tabernacle, or when they would gather and carry the Ark of the Covenant. And at night there was what? Fire. Fire over the top of it. It was the first and the ultimate nightlight for two and a half million people, and it reminded them of God's presence. Holy was there. They got to hear holy at the foot of Mount Horeb of Mount Sinai. They got to hear it so scared of the voice that they said, no, no, no. And so we see that picture every year at the spring holy days as we picture the leaving of Egypt, a picture of us coming out of the world. But there was a time that was unique on earth. I'd like you to go there with me. 1 Kings 8. 1 Kings 8. And it is when Solomon built a house for God, even though he said in his prayer, nothing can hold God. But this was a dedication to him that his father dreamed of having.

And Solomon at this time was very dedicated to God. He started well. He just didn't end well, which is a good lesson for us.

We want to start well, we want to end well. That's what God wants from us. So he teaches us this lesson about holy. So if you will, follow me in 1 Kings 8 and verse 9. He said, Nothing was in the ark except the two tablets of stone which Moses put there at Horeb. When the Lord made a covenant with the children of Israel when they came out of Egypt, that I just talked about, and then verse 10, it came to pass when the priest came out of the holy place. This was Solomon's temple. It came out of the holy place that the cloud filled the house of God, filled the house of the Lord. And verse 11, so that the priest could not continue ministering because of the cloud, for the glory, the holiness, the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord. Imagine seeing that, this beautiful temple that was built. It took seven years just to build Solomon's temple with thousands of men working on it. Had to be just so. Not a hammer, not any sound was allowed in this temple in the construction. Every piece had to be put together so finely crafted that it just fit together like a puzzle inside.

Solomon considered this place the holiest place on the earth, and for a long time it was. It was where you were to come to worship God. It's where those who wanted to worship God, whether you were of Israel or Judah or other nations, could come and worship God.

And they knew his presence was there. How awesome that sight must have been. How awesome that day. You can read about it. I won't go into that day when he dedicated that temple Solomon did that day, but it was filled with the glory. Can you imagine the people? The people who stood there watching this, realizing that they were in the presence of holy. Oh, they had heard about it. They'd just never seen it before. Oh, they recognized when Saul was king. They recognized when David was king, and he brought this, and he danced half naked when they brought in the Ark of the Covenant. And when Solomon came in, and they knew all this land was being prepped, and all these materials were brought forth to build this incredible temple. David himself, out of his own money, donated something in today's dollars of 50 to 60 million dollars just in gold. And then there was silver, and then there were these other things. The most expensive building ever built was this one. As a matter of fact, somebody did a study in the 1920s here in an engineering course at a university. I think it was University of Illinois. And they took just the materials from the Bible and went and found prices for it. And they put together what it would cost to build Solomon's Temple today. And then they brought that forward to the 1980s. That's when I read this study. And it was like 2.5 billion dollars just for this building. Amazing, amazing place, as you can then read about it. How long did it last? Anybody have a guess? From Solomon's Temple of the Word, when it was built to when it was destroyed by the Babylonians? Anybody guess? 70 years? It's good, but no.

For around 400 years. They don't know 390 to 410. It's someone in there, so they pretty good guess it's 400 years. 400 years! This stood there.

Imagine going to it, seeing it. We have drawings of it today. And it'd be an awesome building just to see today.

The Hebrew word for holy is kadesh. Kadesh. Kadesh. They actually say kadesh. I'm also kadesh. They recognize that as holy. Very, very holy. Sacred. Pure.

That would have considered the greatest thing ever. It's holy. And this was on earth in a temple for almost 400 years. But something happened. Something happened, if you'll go with me, to Ezekiel. Ezekiel 10.

Ezekiel 10. The time of this takes place in 605 BC. When the Babylonians took the first slaves out of Jerusalem and brought them to Babylon, you might remember a guy named David and three of his friends that hung out there.

Daniel. Excuse me. I said David. It's Daniel. Same guy.

You never knew Daniel's middle name, did you? It was David. But that was 605. But then in 597, a few years later, almost seven years later, Nebuchadnezzar took another group of young men, prisoners, and carried them over to Babylon.

And that group was a man named Ezekiel. And he became a street preacher.

And almost 50 years later, before the temple was totally destroyed. But something happened before that temple was destroyed. As a matter of fact, you might enjoy reading Ezekiel 7, 8, and 9 as it sets a tone for exactly what was happening in Judah because Ezekiel didn't know he was 500 miles away in Babylon. He didn't know, but God was revealing this and took him on a journey and let him see what was happening. And the holy men of Judah were actually worshipping creatures and every other thing they can think of. Had hidden rooms that they would go in and worship in the very temple itself. Ezekiel's mission was to tell the people back in Babylon that, no, it's not all great back in Jerusalem because all the word on the street was, hey, everybody's ever going to go back. And everything's good. They're still worshiping God. They still have all this. We can see the Sabbath. We can do all this. Little did they know that was all just a lie.

And Jeremiah was fighting for his life as he was trying to tell the people.

But by the time of Jeremiah, it was too late. God had made up his mind. But there's this credible thing that most people, a lot of people don't even realize is, here, let's go there. Ezekiel 10 and verse 1, as he took him and let him see what was going on in Jerusalem. And so, I looked, and there in the firmament that was above the head of the caribim, there appeared something like a sapphire stone. Sound familiar, like the throne of God? Have you ever done that? Having the appearance of the likeness of a throne. Then he spoke to the man clothed with linen and said, Go in among the wheels under the carib. Fill your hands with coals of fire from among the caribim and scatter them over the city. And he went in as I watched. Now the caribim was standing on the south side of the temple when the man went in and the cloud filled the inner court. Remember that cloud? Isn't that cloud that had always been there? Then the glory of the Lord went up from the carib and paused over the threshold of the temple. It actually stopped. This cloud had actually stopped at the threshold as it was leaving, almost as saying, I'm gone.

I can't stay here anymore. Amazing! I think you've got to see this.

And the court was full of the brightness of the Lord's glory and the sound of the wings of the caribim was heard even in the outer court like the voice of Almighty God when he speaks. It shook the walls. It was so strong because it had been the home of God for 400 years. His presence was there. He knew why this was built. He also knew what was going to happen to it. Let's go down to verse 15. And the caribim lifted up. This was the living creature I saw by the river Kibbar. When the caribim went, the wheels went beside them, and when the caribim lifted their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also did not turn from beside them. Strange look! You can see some drawings of this because it's hard for us to imagine. But just imagine Ezekiel seeing it.

When the caribim stood still, the wheels stood still. And when one was lifted up, the other lifted itself up, for the spirit of the living creature was in them. Then the glory of the Lord departed from the threshold of the temple and stood over the caribim. It now left, and it was over that supposed-looking throne that was there. And the caribim lifted their wings and mounted up from the earth in my sight. When they went out, the wheels were beside them, and they stood at the door of the east gate of the Lord's house. And the glory of the God of Israel was above them. It had left. Jerusalem was no longer holy. Jerusalem was no longer the holy city. It was so corrupt that even God didn't want his presence, the spirit, to be there. Didn't want it.

No kadesh.

The holy place was gone. And of course, what do we know?

King Nebuchadnezzar came in and he destroyed everything. He tore it down. He burnt it down and leveled it and carried almost everyone off. They left a few hundred people, they say, just to take care of the crops and take care of the land. But everybody else, he carried off. And you have to remember, those people he carried off, they did have a chance to come back, didn't they? They came back. They were still alive, but it was 50 years later. 50 years from when that temple was destroyed to where they were able to come back. Total was 70 years from 605 to 586 when this was done. Wow. Think about this. 70 years, most of those were already dead. You might reckon they can even tell Ezekiel was dead. He never got to go back.

David was dead. I mean Daniel was dead.

Wow. Remember who came back? Ezra and Nehemiah had to come back. So let's go. Let's go, if you will. Join me in the book of Nehemiah. Nehemiah, as it's interesting, God wanted them to come back and bring holiness back to the land of Jerusalem. He needed them to. It was prophesied that it was going to happen, but he also wanted to clean up their act. But it's interesting in Nehemiah, as we have the story. Here we're still looking at 400 years before Jesus Christ shows up on the scene, but let's read what happened as he started building the temple back, built the altar first, started building houses with all the various men that had been sent there. But I find this very interesting. Nehemiah 8, verse, let's see, where am I? Nehemiah 8. But it's interesting because all these people had come back. Many of them had never been there before because this was 50 years. This was 70 years by the older people. And then you have to realize if you go back and you study, when God allowed them through the king to come back, many of them didn't want to come back. Oh no, man, we like New York City. Man, it's a beautiful sight. Oh, we got things going on here. Why do we want to go back and have to work? But a lot of younger people had never. They had been captives all these years.

And they came back and Ezra, as it says in verse 2, I didn't give you this, David, but verse 2, Ezra the priest brought the law before the assembly of the men and women, and all could hear the understanding, with understanding, on the first day of the seventh month. What day is that?

First day of the seventh month. That's right. This is the Feast of Trumpets. He was standing before them, having to read the law. Why do you have to read the law? Because they didn't know it. They'd been gone. They didn't know. They'd forgotten. It wasn't part of their life. They had adapted a new lifestyle. But then they came back. And Ezra was like, oh, we got to get our act together, people. We have got to get together. So he stood as he was described and read the book of the law by the Watergate. And it's interesting here because he opened the book in the sight of the people in verse 5, for he was standing above all the people. And when he opened it, all the people stood up. A lot of people stood up. There was a beginning. At least they stood. At least they showed respect. At least we brought out this book of the law. What was the book of the law?

Which book? Deuteronomy. That was the book of the law. That's why I had one book. He was reading. He was going to read the book of Deuteronomy to them.

And he said in verse 7, that he named all these people who were helping, who helped the people to understand the law, and the people stood in their place in verse 7. So he had people explaining to other people, why did they have to do that? They forgot it. What else did they forget?

Holy days? Sabbath?

What was holy? They also lived and had a different language. Good Christing, they had a different language. They no longer spoke Hebrew. They spoke Aramaic because that's what was spoken in Babylon. What was the language of when Christ returned? What was the language of the land?

Yes, Aramaic. So he was reading to them. They needed somebody because he was reading from Hebrew.

He had to have people understand. Well, this is what this means.

Isn't that amazing? He had to have it. Now let's go to verse 8. So they read distinctly from the law of God, which was the book of Deuteronomy, and they gave the sense and helped them to understand the reading.

How easy would it be for a generation or two over 50 years to lose your language, lose your parents' language, lose this? Ezra wanted to bring it back. Verse 9. And Nehemiah was a governor, and Ezra the priest and the scribe and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, This day is holy to the Lord your God. They didn't know. They just gathered because they were told they were supposed to because the governor says, You come out, you came out. But he said, This is holy. This day is holy. He said, Do not mourn nor weep. Why? Why do you have to tell them not to mourn or weep? Because they just realized how far off from God they were, how far they were from holy.

And they heard the Ten Commandments probably for the very first time, many of them. And they heard the Holy Days, as Andre mentioned here, and realized that you had to keep these and they realized they hadn't.

History repeats itself, especially when it comes to God. Amazing, amazing that this is what they experienced. This is what they went through.

And they wanted to be sad and realize it was a form of repentance, as it should be, because when we read something from God's Word and we realize we're in violation of it, we want to do what? We would need to mourn. We need to go, Oh, God, sorry. Yeah, that applies to me. Uh-uh. He said, This ain't the day for that. This is not the day for that, because this is a feast day. And you're going to learn from this day forward about the Holy Days and just how special and present for all the people when they heard the words of the law. They were convicted. What are we seeing here? Holy was there again. Holy was there in the Holy Land. Holy was coming there in the Word of God. Holy was there with Ezra and Nehemiah and the people who were beginning to say, Yes, this is our God. Not all the gods we knew in Babylon that we had been worshiping, that we had been carried away by, all the stuff we've been taught. And then what did he tell them to do? He said to them, Go your way. Eat the fat. Drink the sweet and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared, for this day is holy. This day is kadesh. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is our strength. He's telling them, We're back. Holy is back. We have our nation back. We have God back. Even though they looked at that temple they'd been trying to repair, and it was such an awful sight. They just had to throw things together, burnt stones and everything else. That they had an altar, and they were sacrificing to God. And God saw, My people are back. I can come back. Holy is coming back. So the Levites in verse 11, quieted all the people, saying, Be still, for the day is holy. Do not be grieved. That's why we don't fast on a holy day. As a matter of fact, God tells us the exact opposite, except for atonement. Nobody calls. I never heard anybody here say, Oh, I'm looking forward to the feast of atonement. It's the day of atonement. It's the only day we fast. But that's why He doesn't want anybody to fast on a holy day, because it's a time to rejoice. This is what He's trying to teach them. So even though, yeah, there's time for mourning, there's time for this, but this is a high day. Verse 12, all the people went their way to eat and drink, to send portions and rejoice greatly because they understood the words that were declared to them.

Do you want to do that? You want to do that?

We can have feast trumpets right here, right? It's going to be in this room. Bill, can you get that reserved over there for us? So we can have a feast? I think if they can have it, we can sure have it. Let's see if you can do that. If not, I'll get on the horn too. Let's see. Yes, yeah, we don't have that planned. But hey, it's a feast. We're looking at God's Word. Why wouldn't we? This is the time we should, because we're getting ready. It's a fall season. It kicks off the fally days. Let's see if we can do that. Has anybody here got a problem with it? If you do, get out of the room. Verse 13, now on the second day, the heads of the fathers, houses of all the people with the priests and the Levites were gathered to Israel the scribe in order to understand the words of the law. This was the day after the feast of trumpets, they got together to read these words because now this was exciting. Okay, we've got our plan going forward. Let's do this. That was exciting for them.

You ever think of the Word? Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness. They were hungering and thirsting for righteousness. He was standing. He was standing, reading this.

Verse 14, and they found written in the law which the Lord had commanded by Moses and the children of Israel shall dwell in booths. Wow, wait a minute. What's this all about? During the feast of the seventh month? They just started. They have 14 more days. It's time to party again that they should announce and proclaim in all the cities in Jerusalem saying, go out to the mountains and bring olive branches, branches of trees, myrtle branches, palm branches, and branches of every leafy tree to make booths as it was written. Then the people went out and brought them and made themselves booths. Each one on the roof of his house or in the courtyard or the courts of the house of God and in the open square of the water gate and in the open square of the gate of Ephraim. So the whole assembly of those who returned from captivity made booths and sat under the booths for since the days of Joshua, the son of Nun, until that day the children of Israel had not done so. Did you get that? Wait a minute, because from the days of Joshua to then, wait a minute, David was there, wasn't he? Solomon was there. We had Hezekiah there. We had Josiah, but Nun, Nun had a feast, Tabernacles like this, where they were. The heart was there. They had totally turned to God because holy was there. And there was great gladness. Also, day by day, from the first day until the last day, he read from the book of the law of God, Deuteronomy. And they kept the feast seven days, and on the eighth day there was a sacred assembly according to the prescribed manner. That's just such an inspiring story of where people turned.

The only thing I can reflect is September 11, 2001, and how this nation, the churches were full. We had people calling.

People were calling, well, is this the end? Oh, what do we do? It lasted about three weeks. Yes.

Holy was no longer important. We get back to our normal lives.

That's what it is. It shows. It shows this.

Can you imagine going to a service and part of it, as people just standing by the water gate, there's a big water gate, and they just stand. And it's sad, from early morning to noon, they just stood there and listened to the book of Deuteronomy being read. And they were so attentive.

And we have people today say, well, how long are you going to preach?

Are you going to be out of here an hour and a half? You know, I've got a dinner reservation. Now, this was unique. But then, 400 years go by.

And all of a sudden, God comes to earth, Emmanuel. He comes to earth. And the people of his time didn't even know who he was. They were supposed to be looking for him. They were warned and told about him. Very few did.

He healed thousands, maybe even tens of thousands of people. No. Nobody stood up and said, don't crucify this man. Nobody. But it's so interesting because go with me to John's Gospel of John, 2nd chapter. Oh, this is beautiful. This is beautiful.

John chapter 2, verse 13.

Acts. Back to John. Where are you, John? Had it marked in my Bible, but it must have slipped out. Did. John 2, verse 13. Now, the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. And he found he had just started his ministry. He started six months before, right after the Feast of Tabernacles. He started, and he started walking down. His first public miracle was just a few days before when he turned the water into wine. And then he came to Jerusalem, and he found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business. And he made a whip of cords. He drove them all out of the temple and the sheep and the oxen and poured out the money changers money and turned the tables. And he said to them who sold the oven, take these things away. Do not make my father's house a house of merchandise. Then his disciples remember what he said, zeal for your house has eaten me up. Holy was present in the temple again. It had come back because Christ was there. God in the flesh. And he saw what they were doing to the house of God.

Did the Holy Spirit exist there in the temple? No. It was Herod's temple. He had rebuilt it, spent a hundred years still working on it at the time of Christ. That's interesting because... but he was still insulted because he knew people needed to know at least when you sacrifice, when you come in for the Passover, and what it represented, it represented him. Don't be thieves! Don't steal and cheat and lie!

It needs to be holy. This was holy time. This was a Passover.

At least holy was there. Go with me to Acts. Acts 2. I'm gonna have speed up here. Acts 2. Acts 2 and verse 1. When the day of Pentecost had fully come, and it had fully come, they were all in one accord, and in one place, and suddenly there came a sound from heaven as a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues as fire, and one set upon each of them, and they began all, and they, excuse me, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, and the Spirit gave them utterance. Holy was back. Holy was back. It was over their heads. They could see it. They could see it again. This was different. Something was different. How beautiful that must have been. Christ healed thousands, tens of thousands, and only 120 were gathered. But they were holy. Why God had separated them, sanctified them, set them apart, and now the Holy Spirit was coming to the followers of God. Why? God didn't need a temple anymore, did He? Nope. He didn't need a temple. Why? Because in the New Testament, the Greek word for holy is haggios. Haggios. And it's the same as kadesh. It means to be separated, to be sanctified, to be perfect, to be pure, to be clean. It's the ultimate word. And finally, it was Him here on earth with the first disciples of Jesus Christ.

As a matter of fact, He had to be reminded because He continued. Go with me to 1 Corinthians. 1 Corinthians. 1 Corinthians 3. Verse 16. Paul had to tell people. He had to tell the church. He's telling us today this very thing. He says, do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles a temple, God will destroy him. Brethren, that's a warning to us. He will destroy you.

That temple was destroyed because they defiled it. He will destroy us, and He'll do it. With fire in the lake of fire. That's not a threat. That's a promise. Because He gives you the Holy Spirit. It's that pure. For the temple of God is holy which temple you are. What did He say? He had to say it again, didn't He? By the mouth of two or three witnesses, is the matter established? 1 Corinthians 6 and verse 19. Do you not know, you Corinthians, do you not know, members, that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit?

Holy is here, brethren, who is in the Holy Spirit, which is in you whom you have from God and you are not your own. For you were bought at a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. What a powerful thing.

What a powerful thing. Holy has come to earth. And now, it's just small. But one day is why we all go. Because there's a future. There's a future that we all look forward to and God gives us the inspiration to keep the Feast of Tabernacles every year so we can get a glimpse.

It's a small glimpse. It's only this, but it's still a glimpse of how great the world's going to be when the true Holy One of God comes back. Isn't that beautiful? He's coming. You're going to hear this. Go back with me to Isaiah. Isaiah 2. Isaiah 2, verse 2. Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established on top of all the mountains.

It shall be exalted above all the hills. That's right. All the hills. Mount Everest, 29,000 feet. We brought down. Leveled. You ever been to Hawaii? Mauna Kea. Okay. From the bottom of the ocean to the very top is 33,000 feet. God. It's going to be left. And Jerusalem, or Temple of God will be the highest place on the entire earth. Many of the people shall say, come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of God, of the God of Jacob, and He will teach us His ways.

He will teach us how to be holy. Holy, holy, holy, as Isaiah heard. Holy is God. He's going to teach us that. He's going to teach those people who come up there and go. And we shall walk in His pass, for out of Zion shall go forth the law. Oh, that book of the law, that same Deuteronomy will be read. Still going to be and you're going to be reading it. You're going to be teaching, because that's what He called us to be. Kings and priests in His kingdom, teachers. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He shall judge between nations that they will be many people.

They shall beat their swords into plowshares and the spears into pruning hook. Nation will not lift up sword against nation. Neither shall they learn war anymore. O house of Jacob, come, let us walk in the light of the Lord. Come, let us be holy. This will be a holy planet again, like the Garden of Eden. That's what's promised. As a matter of fact, go with me to Ezekiel. I'll go back here as I try to wrap this up. Ezekiel 36. These people don't understand that God's going to bring that in, and He wants to start such a holy nation.

It's going to last for a thousand years, and He's going to bring those tribes, those ones He promised, because if God promised it doesn't matter whether it's been four or five thousand years, He's going to keep His promise. And He's going to bring those tribes back. As Revelation 7 says, there's 12,000 from each of the tribes. He's going to seal through the tribulation so they can't be killed. They won't die because He's bringing them back.

He's bringing them back to their original lands. And when He brings them back, this is what He says He's going to do. Ezekiel 36. And I will sanctify my great name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst. And nations shall know that I am the Lord, says the Lord God, when I am hallowed, made holy in you before their eyes. These people He's bringing back, He's going to make them holy. They're going to understand because they don't even know who they are.

We don't know who they are. God knows exactly who they are. That's why He gives the description in Revelation 7 of the 12,000th from each tribe He's bringing back. For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Has that happened yet? No. Oh, well, that happened after World War II. No! No, it didn't. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean. He will cleanse them. He will cleanse them. I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. They're going to understand that it's wrong, and they're going to repent.

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. Oh, wow! You see how He's able to put 144,000 people there around Jerusalem in all their land that their original forefathers had, and that's what they will start with. And they will have children, and those children will have children, and they will come, and they will come up and worship God in Jerusalem. And I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will take the stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you will keep my judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. You shall be my people, and I will be your God. Holy is coming to this earth. And what a beautiful thing. But something has to happen before. Just has to.

Go with me to Revelation 19. Revelation 19. As we know at the first of Revelation 19, we see the wedding supper, and then we see what the bride and the groom are going to do. In verse 11 of Revelation 19, Now I saw the heavens opened, and behold a white horse, and he who sat on it was called Faithful and True. And in righteousness he judges, and then he makes, what? War. War. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and his head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one else except him knew. He was clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is called the Word of God. And the armies in heaven clothed in white linen, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed him on white horses. For out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, and with it he shall strike the nations. It's not going to be pretty. He has to do it. As a matter of fact, I just thought of this this week and sent this to David or had him think of it, because I so want to say this because it's a clip from the movie Tombstone. Anybody seen Tombstone? Can you play that clip? Because I can just... this is reflecting on what God, what Jesus is going to say. Great! Kill all the others! Curse the lies coming! You tell them I'm coming! And hell's coming with me! You hear? Hell's coming with me! Because that is what Christ is delivered. He is going to deliver those to their greaves. Those who have taken over the world, who have tried to kill his servants, do all this stuff. Yes, he's coming. Holy's coming, but hell's coming with it, because the grave is coming, because he's having to. He's going to put the armies of the world down. They want to turn against him and destroy everything that is good, as they are led by Satan, the beast and the false prophet.

There is a... one more verse I want to cover, but Christ sets up his kingdom. I know it's going to last forever. A thousand years is special. A thousand years is precious. It's as close to heaven as people think about today.

And when people think about going to heaven, they think, oh, what a beautiful place. When I look, I think about the kingdom of God. I think about the thousand-year millennial reign of Christ, and we see the description given by Ezekiel, by Isaiah, by all the minor prophets of what a wonderful time it is. Jesus has promised it. God has promised that it will be this beautiful thing. And then the last scripture, if you will turn with me. Revelation 21. Revelation 21. Holy is coming. Revelation 21 verse 1. Now I saw new heavens and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no more seed. Then I, John, saw the holy city, new Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband, and I heard a loud voice from heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people. God himself will be with them, and it will be their God, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There shall be no more death, no more sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Then he who sat on the throne said to me, Behold, I make all things new. Right, for these words are true and faithful. He said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha, the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give the fountain. I will give of the fountain of the waters of life freely to him who thirst. He who overcome shall inherit all things. I will be his God, and he shall be my Son. Brethren, holy is coming. We have the fall holy days at picture when holy will be over the entire world. It's a wonderful plan. It's a wonderful scene. And brethren, we get to experience it every year. We just sometimes forget just how holy God is, how holy his holy days are, and how holy we are to God since we have been set apart, sanctified by not only his truth, but by his Spirit. Four weeks from today, holy is coming. Four weeks from today in this room, the Feast of Trumpets will take place. Holy is coming. It's here, but it's coming even greater. Brethren, holy is coming.
