The 5th commandment offers us guidance in how we should care for and love our parents. As we comply with God’s laws it prepares us for our future positions in His family. Are we willing to honor our physical and spiritual Father, to a greater degree?

Doug Wendt is a 1977 graduate of Ambassador College with a BS in Physical Education. His career included work as an electrician and General Contractor. Doug was ordained into the ministry in 2013 and  previously served congregations in Orlando, Jacksonville and Ocala, Florida. He now pastors the United Church of God congregations in St Petersburg and Tampa, Florida.
