Before his accusers and the Jerusalem council Paul cried out, “Concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead I am being judged” (Acts 23:6)! He staked his life’s defense on this hope, and we must do the same. To make this hope a reality, aim your whole life at its fulfillment. Endure everything, no matter how hard it gets, to reach it. It is a beautiful and inspiring hope, and it will not be too much longer before it is here.

Andy Diemer is the pastor of the Fort Myers, Florida congregation and the associate pastor serving the congregations in Ft. Lauderdale and Vero Beach, Florida. He served as the pastor of the churches in New England from 2014 to 2021. He was baptized into the Church in 1981 and ordained as an elder in 2011. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Cleveland State University. He had a thirty-year career in manufacturing before being hired by the UCG in 2014.
