The title today is, How Dialectics Shape Your World. You don't know what dialectics is. One of the purposes here is to tell you what it is. Is there a philosophical system behind the seeming contradictions that permeate our world? Or are world events merely the result of helter-skelter decisions that men make along the way? So, once again, is there a philosophical, might say a diabolical or philosophical system behind the seeming contradictions that permeate our world? Does Satan have a grand plan to deceive the nations into worshipping him? Or are we to believe that he will achieve his goal of becoming the object of worship through time and chance or by accident? Despite what the Bible clearly reveals concerning the deceitful nature of Satan, we have people who believe that Satan will achieve his goals out in the open, sort of by chance or by accident, as if there are no conspiracies in the land. We tend to live our lives as if we are oblivious to what shapes our world. And so many people don't really even care. As you see the things unfold in our world, you see on television and Fox News channel O'Reilly, as what's called Water's World, where he goes out and asks various people, who's the president, what year did we declare independence from Great Britain, or what nation did we declare independence from, and who fought the Civil War. They don't even have a clue. A lot of these people are college graduates, summer school teachers, and they really don't have a clue as to what is going on in our world. No wonder we are in the condition we're in. We are living history now. The events that are going on right now will be the subject matter of history books in the near future. Britain is the god of this world. He is the master of deception. He even transforms himself into an angel of light in order to deceive. In other words, he feigns to be an angel of light, the Great Liberator. Let's note key passages of scripture about cover-up and deception. Nearly all of us, if you would be turning to Ezekiel 13, nearly all of us can quote Revelation 12.9, which says, in that old serpent, Satan the devil, who is deceiving the whole world. Just about everybody here can quote that scripture that Satan is deceiving the whole world. But do we really believe it? Do we understand it? Do we know how he's doing it? In Ezekiel 13, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy. Prophets not only used for the people who might represent God. Of course, there were many false prophets in Israel. As you know, that Israel set up a false system of religion under Jeroboam, and he made priests out of the basis of people. But it also can be the leadership. Son of man prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy and say unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord God, woe unto the prophets that have followed their own spirit and have seen nothing. O Israel, your prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.
You have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the Lord, that climactic day in which God and Jesus Christ intervene in human affairs. They have seen vanity and lying divination, the Lord God says, and the Lord God has not sent them. And they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. Have they not seen a vain vision? Have you not spoken a lying divination? Whereas, you say the Lord says, and I have not spoken it. Now you look at verse 10. Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, peace, and there was no peace, and one built up a wall, and lo, others dobbed it with untempered mortar. In other words, they whitewashed the fence. They made it appear to be one way. When really the fence inside was decayed, it was rotten. And then when the winds of life came and the winds and events of the world came, it tumbled down. It was revealed that it was not stable. Now you look at Ezekiel 22.
In Ezekiel 22, concerning the part about conspiracy, in Ezekiel 22 and verse 23, Ezekiel 22-23, and the word of the Eternal came unto me, saying, Son of man, say unto them, you are the land that is not cleansed nor reigned upon in the day of ending nation.
There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof. This is the word of God.
There is a conspiracy of their prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion, ravening the prey. They devoured souls. They've taken the treasures and precious things.
They have made her many widows in the midst thereof. Her priests have violated my law and have profaned my holy things.
Of course, you could read the rest of the chapter with regard to this.
At the end of the chapter, it says, I look for a man to stand in the gap, and there was none.
But we, that must not be said of us, we will stand in the gap.
I believe the main reason that the beast's power kills the two witnesses is because they are revealing to the peoples of the world the truth about the great deceivers, the beast, the false prophet, of course, who are energized by Satan the devil.
With the advent of the internet and as information becomes more and more available to the average person, you hear more and more about conspiracies. The corporate capitalists, think-tank intellectuals, and politicians are more and more alarmed by the charge of conspiracy in many areas.
I started giving sermons on some of this in the 1970s, and many thought that I was going overboard. In fact, one person, if I called his name, no longer associated, in which I revealed, and of course it's there for anybody who wants to look really, that the Federal Reserve is not a Federal Reserve, it is a private corporation, and many other things about our monetary system, said, boy, you're opening yourself up, they may knock you off. Things that used to be considered the domain of conspiracy nets are now openly discussed. For example, organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations, CFR, Trilateral Commission, Globalism, World Government, New World Order, and one of the main jobs of mainstream media is to wage war against those who would dare expose the real goals of those who claim to have our best interests at heart. Expose those whose goal is to gain control over the destiny of humanity. How do I know this? Absolutely. Because the Scripture tells us clearly in 2 Corinthians 4-4, and probably everybody here could quote 2 Corinthians 4-4, that Satan is the God of this world. Satan offered the kingdom of this world to Jesus Christ after he was baptized and said, all of these kingdoms will I give unto you if you will bow down and worship me. And of course, Christ responded by saying, it is written, you shall worship the Lord God, him only shall you worship. So are we really aware of Satan's strategies?
Are we ignorant of his devices?
As I noted, nearly everybody can quote Revelation 12-9. Satan is deceiving the whole world.
They can quote 1 Corinthians 4-4. Satan is the God of this world. But then we approach the world as if the devil is dead. The devil is not dead. Neither is God. We had a movie here last Saturday night, God is not dead. The devil is not dead either. I look for more and more censorship on the internet. China and other nations are already seriously limiting access to certain websites. You need to and must understand that the great epics of world history were to a large degree shaped by the prevailing philosophy of the day. The pre-flood world was destroyed by a philosophical system of licentious wickedness. Licentious is a word that means licensed to do whatever you please to do.
A system of licentious wickedness that permeated the earth through the work of Satan the devil and the line of Cain. You must never doubt that Satan and the demons were very involved in the wickedness that permeated the pre-flood world. Look at 1 Peter chapter 3 verse 18 with regard to Satan's influence in the pre-flood world and Jesus Christ going in spirit and preaching to them. After Satan rebelled in the demons with him, certain restraints were placed upon them, but Satan still had access to God's throne like he read in Revelation chapter 12 that he is before the throne of God accusing the brethren. Actually, the word accusing is slandering the brethren day and night. In 1 Peter 3 verse 18, For Christ also has once suffered for us the just for the unjust that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but quickened made alive by the spirit by which he went and preached unto the spirits in prison. See this condition of restraint that the demons were placed into after they rebelled. You read about that in 2 Peter chapter 2.
When sometimes were disobedient, when once the long-suffering of God waited in the days of Noah while the ark was preparing, apparently Noah was on the scene, a preacher of righteousness for 120 years, and we think we have a long time, while the ark was preparing wherein few that his eight souls were saved by water.
The philosophical views of Aristotle and Plato influenced the culture of the western world for centuries. A philosophical system gripped the world during the Middle Ages as the Catholic Church held sway over the masses in western Europe.
What was this philosophy of Aristotle and Plato with regard to the universe?
They postulated that the earth was the center of the universe and that the sun revolved around the earth, which was opposite. Then came Thomas Aquinas, who to some degree merged Greek philosophy with Catholic Catholicism. The official position of the Catholic Church was that the earth was the center of the universe. When men like Galileo and Giordano Bruno came along and showed with aid of the telescope that that was not the case, they were brought before the tribunal.
They were threatened with death if they didn't recant.
Reportedly, Galileo recounted, but under his breath he said, what the truth really was. Eventually, irrefutable evidence of the physical world caused the church to change its doctrine, but some men died in the wake of challenging the orthodoxy of the day.
Some men died. A lot of men died in bringing the Bible to us, getting it into a translation in which the common man could read it. Some were burned at the stake not all of that long ago.
There will be men in the Church of God who will be persecuted even by Church members because they dare to stand for the truth instead of the traditions of men, legends, and fables. How do I know this? You look at 2 Timothy chapter 4.
Brother, now is the time to put your nose in the Bible. We had a fine sermonette in the leadership club by Roger Daniels. In essence, it was saying, put your nose in the Bible every day. Read the Bible every day.
In 2 Timothy chapter 4, I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead, the living and the dead, at his appearing and his kingdom, preach the word, be instant in season, out of season, reprove. That word reprove is a lanchel in the Greek. It means convict. What convicts? It is the word of God and the spirit of God that convicts. Convict, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine, for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine.
But after their own lust shall they heap to themselves teachers having itching ears. Oh, tell me something new. I've heard this stuff about the plan of God. I've heard about the kingdom of God. I know that. Tell me something new. Well, if that is not new, if that is not the most exciting news, really there's not much hope for you. What you heard in the sermonette, that's where it is. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned undefables. But watch you in all things and do reflections through the work of evangelists and make foolproof of your ministry. So what about our time? What is the prevailing philosophy of the day that has wrought and brought the kind of world we live in? What is it?
We could summarize it this way. We must be tolerant of all various lifestyles and belief systems. We're tired of division. We just want to get along and live in peace. The great commandment of the day is, you shall not be intolerant. After the recent midterm elections, the commentators were talking about the campaigns of the various candidates, that this time the Republicans chose those who were more tolerant and willing to compromise. People do not want people devoted to their principles.
You know, died in the wool. I'm going to stick with the truth. They want people who will compromise and work toward unity. Now, unity is a wonderful thing, but unity, at the expense of the truth, is no unity at all.
So they're tired of partisan politics.
The greatest moral shift in the history of humankind, I'm talking about worldwide, especially the Western world, is going on right before our eyes. The shift from the sanctity of marriage between male and female to same-sex marriage. Of course, you have that passage in Luke, it says, as it were, in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, so shall it be at the end of this age.
No nation or civilization has ever survived gross immorality. And running closely behind the LGBT, now the LGBT movement is the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender movement, in which even in some of the public schools now, students, male and female, can use the same restroom.
Running closely behind LGBT agenda is the legalization of abortion, Roe v. Wade, which dates back decades. Millions have been put to death.
Then there is the sexual revolution that permeates media, movies, television, print, media, and it is the hook for most advertising or advertisements. The ever-increasing drug problem with recreational marijuana now being legalized in four states and the District of Columbia, Washington, D.C., of all places, where it should not be legalized.
And it's just a matter of time that other states will follow suit.
Books could be written and have been, but few of them reveal to you what is really behind the chaos and confusion that runs rampant through all the world's institutions at this critical juncture in human history. Virtually none of them really expose Satan's strategies.
So now we come to dialectics, the title of how dialectics are shaping your world. A bit of background of their philosophical systems and systems that have brought us to the point that we are. Dialectics. The word dialectic comes from the Greek word of dialogue, which means to debate or to argue. And what about the Hegelian dialectic? It's called the Hegelian dialectic because the laws of dialectics were around way before then.
The laws of dialectics were already worked out in detail before the German philosopher, before the German philosopher, George Wilhelm Hegel. Hegel lived from 1770 to 1830, 60 years, came on the scene. But Hegel was a person who systematized the principles of the dialectical method and applied them to human history and specifically government. And what does the Hegelian dialectic have to do with how our worldview is shaped and Satan's strategy of deceiving the peoples of the world into worshiping him? The Hegelian dialectic is often, most often, summarized in terms of thesis, antithesis, and synthesis. The thesis might be an idea or a historical movement. Such an idea or movement contains within itself incompleteness that gives rise to opposition or an antithesis a conflicting idea or movement. We'll give examples in a moment. As a result of the conflict, a third point is introduced, a synthesis which overcomes the conflict by reconciling a so-called higher level of truth contained in both the thesis and antithesis. So the synthesis becomes a new thesis and the new norm for the culture. It eventually generates another antithesis, giving rise to a new synthesis. And in such a fashion, the process of intellectual or historical development is continually generated. This article that I'm about to read explains to a large degree how it works. It is called Dioprax. D-I-A-P-R-A-X. D-I-A-P-R-A-X. Dioprax.
Dioprax is a word coined by Dean Kocher, G-O-T-C-H-E-R, founder of the Institute for Authority Research. Dean has traveled the United States, given over 1,000 live presentations, to Christians explaining this wicked technique that is surreptitiously destroying our families, our government, even our schools. After reading and digesting 600-plus social psychology books, Mr. Kocher joined the word dialectic and the word praxis to create the term dioprax. Dialectic is a philosophical term that describes the use of dialogue to resolve conflict between opposing ideas or opinions. The word praxis simply means to practice, therefore dioprax is to practice the dialectic. These terms are derived from the ungodly 18th century philosophical model that is known as the Hegelian dialectic, the German philosopher Hegel. In its simplest form, the dioprax system is a process whereby the entire world would eventually dialogue until they reach a consensus of three parts of the thesis, antithesis, and synthesis. In the Bible, we see Satan deceiving humankind, deceiving Eve through this process. Satan approaches Eve and says, "'As God not said, you shall not eat of every tree of the garden.'" And Satan says, well, we can eat of every tree except one, and we're not to eat of that tree.
Well, in essence, Satan says, God is lying to you. If you eat of that tree in that day, your eyes will be open and you'll be as God's, meaning that you will have the prerogative to decide for yourself what is right and what is wrong. So the thesis, God has said, you shall not eat of this tree. The antithesis is, okay, it's okay. Go ahead. So Eve looked at it, said it looks good for food, so she ate of it, and then she gave it to Adam. Now, Adam was not deceived, but Adam went along with it. See, in our world today, so many of the things that are going on, the masses are not really for it, but we have the power brokers in the media who are for it, and so we have the thesis, antithesis continually clashing, and then the synthesis is coming out of that is not what you would desire. It is not according to the Bible. So why did Adam go along with it? He went along with it because of apparently relationship. He didn't want to leave Eve.
I would imagine Eve was quite something to look at, but he didn't want to leave Eve, and so he went along with it. As various doctrinal approaches to Christianity vie for preeminence, while posing as interpretive systems, they ultimately put forward the antithesis.
As Christians seek to maintain relationships with churches, family, friends, government, and so on, they slowly erode and sacrifice their previously firm stance on the pure fact of God's Word in order to preserve the relationship. Thus, each person is eventually processed, and a synthesis is reached. We don't want to be different from everybody else, and this has especially hit our youth. There's been a tyranny of the peer group for decades, and now it has moved into the adult world, and especially in the political arena.
No politician on the national scene can stand up and say, I am against gay marriage. They may do it, but they're not going to be elected president and be hard-pressed to be elected to any national office. Now, on the local scene, they may be able to do it, especially in the Bible Belt and in Texas.
Virtually all organizational structures are presently moving in the spirit of diaprex, every city council, county board of commissioners, courthouse, church board of elders, and corporate enterprise is deeply meshed in the process. In this fashion, previously Protestant organizations that were staunchly anti-Papis or anti-Catholic church are now embracing the heresy of Rome and going way beyond that. You take the Presbyterians, who used to be very conservative in their moral approach, now gay marriage is okay, women preachers are okay, and so they move along. The Methodists, the same way, basically speaking, that they have embraced these things, and now they are on the side of the, quote, politically correct. On the political front, the once great American republic is diapraxing itself into a totalitarian police state and falling in line with the one-world United Nations government that the scriptures declare will arise in the last days. After dialoguing two consenses on the subject of security versus personal freedom, the public has moved from the absolute guarantee of the Bill of Rights, the thesis, and forfeited personal freedoms, the synthesis, because the compromise is necessary, they think, in order for the government to protect us, the threat to our security being the antithesis. And so, basically, the populace is kept in a state of fear, and more and more the government passes laws to, quote, protect us. So, a basic understanding of the Hegelian dialectic will help us to understand how the world has come to where it is. The dialectical method involves the notion that movement or process—now we get into the very philosophical or some might call it semi-scientific basis for the philosophy. If you think this is not real, then think again.
The dialectical method involves the notion that movement or process or progress is a result of the conflict of opposites. They hold this view, you hold that view, come together, discuss it, reach a synthesis. Now, that's fine if it is based on the Word of God, and it's true, too, the immutable spiritual law of God. Further, dialectics is a method of thinking and interpreting the world of both nature and society, not just in the human realm, but also in nature. It's a way of looking at the universe which asserts the axiom that everything is in a constant state of change or flux. And to a certain degree, that is true.
Virtually everything is in a state of flux. Even your own body is in a state of flux.
The thesis might be an idea or historical movement, such an idea or movement contains within itself incompleteness that gives rise to opposition or an antithesis, a conflicting idea or movement. For example, pro-life versus right to choose. Thesis, antithesis. What is the synthesis that comes out of that? Well, the synthesis that has been coming has basically come from the political arena, not necessarily the masses, but somehow the politicians. The politicians give over to basically the antithesis. If you were to have a true survey of the American people with regard to abortion, do you think that over half of them would choose the so-called right to abort children? Fetuses in the womb. Some are now even talking about there are already in some cases practicing partial birth abortion. It's difficult to even say it. So it's true to a certain degree that almost nothing is static. The unseen world of atoms and molecules are constantly in movement, in motion. There are molecules, there are atoms, molecules making up the air that we breathe. The air we breathe is real. It's a gas. It's there, but you don't see it. But the atoms and molecules that make it up, they are in motion. Your spiritual state is not static. We might say that life is fluid, and you're flowing with the masses, or you are committed to courageously following the road that leads to eternal life.
Dialectics goes further. Not only do they contend that everything is in a state of flux, they contend that change and motion involve contradiction, and change can only take place through a series of contradictions. But does that physical fact that the world is in a continual state of flux alter the eternal truths of God? Of course, the world would have you believe that, oh, we're in a new age. We're in the 21st century. The old prudish Victorian values of the past must be cast aside. You don't want to be stuck back there. Look at Malachi 3.6.
Do the eternal truths of God change? In Malachi 3.6, for I am the eternal. I change not. Therefore, you sons of Jacob are not consumed. Now, what that means is because God is long-suffering and merciful, you're not consumed. If any of us got strict judgment, we would all be consumed because of wages of sin as death, and we have all sinned. But God has sent us a Redeemer through Jesus Christ to buy us back from sin and death, and we can escape the penalty of death through repentance and faith in Christ. I am the eternal. I change not. Now you look at James chapter 1, which is more complete in what it says regarding this. James chapter 1 verse 17.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above. I mean, there are absolutes.
There is the truth, and there is that which is false. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of Lights, with whom is no veribleness.
So God doesn't say, well, they hold this opinion and they hold that opinion, and somewhere in between. No, his truth. You remember where Elijah had to show down with the priests of Baal on Mount Carmel? And so we had Elijah as the thesis, the truth of God.
We had the priests of Baal, 450, that represented Baal worship in the Great Showdown. And in the showdown, the priests of Baal were challenged with regard to that which was on the altar and the water around the altar. And then when Elijah did all kinds of things, from cutting their body and weeping and moaning, but nothing happened, then Elijah even said, well, pour water around it. And he called on God, and the altar, the sacrifice, the water, and everything, all of that was consumed. For of his own will beget he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first-roots of his creation. Now look at John, chapter 8, the Gospel of John, chapter 8. These few verses here form the basis of my philosophy of education. The state hath decreed that only educated men shall be free. That was back in ancient Greece. But God hath decreed that only educated men are free. I think I said that wrong, but anyhow, I'll say it again. The state hath decreed that only free men shall be educated.
And there was only a certain part of the populace that were free men, and those who were not free men didn't receive an education. It is hard for us to conceive how that mass education is such a new thing in this world. And billions in this world still are illiterate, and know very little. See, mass education came on in the U.S.
Slowly in the 1800s continued, and by the early 1900s, virtually every little community in the U.S. had some form of a little school. All these little scattered communities around East Texas. Many of them have schools, of course, then consolidation came on, and they were swallowed up with that. But anyhow, mass education is a new thing. In John 831, then said Jesus to those Jews that believed on him, if you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. And they answered him, we be Abraham's seed. No sarcastic. We were never in bondage to any man, and they were in bondage right then, under the boot of Rome. How say you that we shall be made free? And Jesus answered them, barely I say unto you, whosoever commits sin is a servite of sin. And the servite abides not in the house forever, but the son abides ever. If the son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed. And see, that is the only path to true freedom. I mean, you may not have political freedom, or you may not have full civil rights, or whatever it is, wherever you may live, but you can have spiritual freedom. You can know and know that you know that if the son makes you free, you are free indeed.
Once again, it is asserted that change can only take place through contradictions. So at the present time, you see contradictions raging over the many grave issues that trouble the peoples of the world. Pro-life versus pro-choice. Heterosexual versus homosexual.
Liberal versus conservative. Legalize or not legalize marijuana. Intervene in the affairs of other nations, or remain neutral. And we could go on and on with the list. Are all of these contradictions just time and chance, or are they by design?
Once again, how does diaprax work? So you have an opinion about X, Y, or Z.
I have an opinion. Your opinion is different than mine. Yours is the thesis, mine is the antithesis. We get together and discuss our opinions and come to a solution.
Each party is willing to compromise on principles, but hopefully we would not compromise on principles in our discussions. That he or she might really believe in the same in the name of unity, they compromise on principles because they want to be thought of well they want relationship they don't want to be viewed as negative and so to fit in they compromise in the name of unity and peace and progress and a new norm is accepted.
Whereas we should be guided by the eternal truths of the word of God and come to an agreement that is in harmony with the word of God. Now look at Isaiah chapter 1. So yes, we should have meetings, we should come together, we should discuss, but the agreement should be based on the word of God that I do not compromise the word of God you do not compromise the word of God. In Isaiah 1.18, Come now let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, and though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Now look at Acts chapter 17. Acts chapter 17.
Yes, discussion, and if you want to call it dialectic, is necessary in the multitude of counselors, there is safety, but compromising what you believe. And so here is a presidential candidate potentially, and one of the first things that they're going to be asked has to do with same-sex marriage, or their stance on abortion. Well, you said back in 1986 in the speech that you gave at the University of, you name it, such and such. Now how have you changed on that? In Acts 17 too, in Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three Sabbaths reasoned with them out of the Scriptures. And there are other places in Acts. As President Obama took off, as he said, that he was going to bring America together. It would not be business as usual, and that we would all lock arms with both sides and work for the common good. In short, he said he was going to change the way Washington works. Yet the dialectic theory of history states that change and progress results from a series of contradictions that result in a new synthesis. So he and his administration and the Republicans have served to polarize the nation to the boiling point. And so we have the situation in Ferguson, Missouri, that whenever the opinion, while the decision of those who are meeting to decide whether or not the officer will be indicted, when that announcement is made, either way it goes, and some have already taken to the street up there, and they will use that as an excuse for protesting. Now, peaceful demonstration is one thing, but destroying the property of others and violence is something else.
In the midst of great revolutions, the contradictions become so great that no compromise can be reached and people revolt. The world has revolved around great competing contradictions since Satan's rebellion. Truth versus deception and error, righteousness versus unrighteousness, good versus evil, God versus Satan the devil. God is allowing the contradictions to run their course. He is allowing those who do not love the truth to be manipulated and led into the grand delusion of the ages. Now, the grand delusion of the ages is, as it describes in 2 Thessalonians 2, that one will sit in the temple of God proclaiming that he is God, and all the world is going to worship him except those whose names are not written, except those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
The dialectic process asserts that instead of a smooth, uninterrupted line of progression, the progress of humankind is not linear. It is interpreted by sudden and explosive periods in which slow, accumulated changes undergoes a rapid acceleration in which quantity is transformed.
I have never seen such a transition as we have seen in my lifetime, as we have seen in recent months, especially this past year.
So, as noted earlier, we are caught in one of those periods right now.
The changes in the world's political and social order have accelerated at an incredible rate.
Once again, the Hegelian dialectic asserts that human history and so-called progress results from a constant state of contradictions that eventually are resolved into a new synthesis.
This past week, we had executive action announced by the President of the U.S.
As I mentioned in the announcements, it will change the face of the nation and weaken the moral and social fabric of the nation. There can be strength in diversity if everyone is dedicated to godly principles.
We all have different talents and gifts, and God exhorts us to use those to edify the body of Christ, which is the Church. A nation without borders is not a nation. It is a territory in which every man's goal is to get as big a slice of the pie as possible.
According to the Hegelian dialectic and the historical material dialectic, the material dialectic is what Karl Marx based his system of economics on and communism in which thesis-antithesis, those who control the capital, the workers, the antithesis, the synthesis. Eventually, they all merge together and a bright new world comes about, but that doesn't happen.
So, it theorizes the world is steadily moving through a series of dialectical We have seen in recent years strides toward the super state. The government now basically controls the automobile industry, energy production to a large degree, the utilities to a large degree, to support the people of the world. To some degree, the banks, even though the Federal Reserve is a private corporation, and to some degree, they're in league with the corporations. The media in a so-called capitalist system depends on advertisers for their revenue. The corporations employ thousands of lobbyists who use every tactic imaginable to coerce and persuade Congress to pass laws favorable to their business interests. The media is pressured to report news that is favorable to the corporation's goals.
So you have the government, corporations, and business in league with each other. But behind the scenes, Satan the devil is at work. He poses as an angel of light. He poses as a savior of mankind. Whereas in reality, he is a destroyer. Satan is like a chameleon. He changes colors and ideologies to suit the situation. After I gave this version of this sermon over in Ruston two weeks ago, one of the members came up, who teaches in the public schools there in Louisiana, said that our mascot is a chameleon. Fierce chameleons.
And I said, well, why is that? She said, I think it's because they want everybody to feel like no matter what they are or where they come from, what they believe or what they think, they're all right. To our mascot, we're chameleons. We change color with the surroundings. We change our ideology with the surroundings. And that's what the elite do. The lust for wealth, the lust for money, the common denominator for all members of the elite, the terms liberal, conservative, secular, religious, Christian, humanist, are all useless in identifying and tracking the elite. How so?
Depending on the historical circumstance and the exegesis of the moment, the elite co-ops this or that label to identify itself, but the label is meaningless. It's merely temporary, a mask, or a momentary contrivance. For example, in the first half of this century, the elite co-opted itself under the conservative and Christian banner. You know, if you go back to the 1920s and 1930s, on up to the early 1950s, the South was solidly democratic. Mr. Roosevelt's going to save us all, one of the lines in a country song. And then, with the advent of the Civil Rights Movement, they shifted from democratic to republican.
Back when I was growing up, the republicans were called the Party of the Rich Man, and the democrats were for the poor man. Both still pose somewhat that way on the national scene. However, when during the Vietnam War and the Civil Rights Movement came along, the left was in the ascendancy. The elite shed their conservative and Christian labels and took on the labels of secular humanism and diversity.
But in the end, it's all the same. These are merely masquerades and artificers which serve to ingratiate the elite to that portion of the population, which at the time it feels it must pacify in order to maintain itself in power and to hold on to its wealth and prerogatives. And yet, at the same time, they talk about redistribution of wealth. Just this week, it talked about how a greater and greater percentage of the wealth in this nation is controlled by 1% of the population.
We must go toward the end now, as we're running out of time, skipping several pages. We'll conclude here in a few minutes. Our children are taught that humankind is a pinnacle of false evolutionary process, and man is God. In fact, evolution is based on the Hegelian dialectic. You have the survival of the fittest, that one is pitted against the other, one animal against another animal, and all the fittest survive.
So they're taught the pinnacle of a false evolutionary process, that man is God. We have prosperity preachers now, such as Joel Osteen. Every sermon is the same. If you just realize the great potential that you have within you, and you stick to it, that God part of you will awaken, and you will succeed. We're led to believe that all opinions and beliefs are of equal value. We're led to believe that the greatest freedom is the right to choose, and the greatest virtue is tolerance of all other views, beliefs, and lifestyles. The rights of all Americans must be protected, especially pro-abortionists and homosexuals.
In some cases, it could be interpreted as the right to do evil. Whereas God says, in Isaiah 5, woe to those who call evil good and good evil. The secular humanistic society has arrived. Those who oppose it are labeled as right-wing fanatics, who are not worthy to hold office in the land because they do not represent all Americans. The age of the perfectly plastic person has arrived, who can be shaped to conform to the whims of the people.
When humans are deprived of their moorings, the anchors of their souls, they become irritable, anxious, and tend to lash out against their fellow man. It fosters a state of narcissism, that is, self-love, envy, jealousy, lust, and greed. Perfectly described by two passages in the Bible. Now let's turn to Michael 7. Michael 7 speaks of what it will be like between human beings toward the end of this age. Michael 7 once was me, for I am, as when they have gathered the summer fruits.
As the great cleanings of the vintage, there is no cluster to eat. My soul desires the first ripe fruit. The good man is perished out of the earth, and there is none upright among men. They all lie in wait for the blood. They hunt every man his brother with a net, especially those who would do good, those who would oppose.
That they may do evil with both hands. Earnestly the prince asks, and the judge asks for a reward. And the great man be uttered his mischievous desire, so they wrap it up. The best of them is of the brier. The most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge. The day of your watchman and your visitation comes. Now shall there be perplexity. Trust you not in a friend. Put you not confidence in a guide. Keep the doors of your mouth from her that lies in your bosom. For the son dishonors the father. The daughter rises up against her mother.
The daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law of man's enemies are the men of his own house. That's the sad state of where this world is going, and to a large degree, where it is. And you look at 2 Timothy chapter 3. When men and women lose their anchors of the soul, when there are no absolute principles to govern their conduct, where are they left? Where are they left? They are left to themselves. 2 Timothy 3.1. This also know that in the last days perilous times shall come. Men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good. Oh, no, don't take a stand. You go along. You compromise. You be a part of the new synthesis.
After all, God loves all humans. All of God's children need equal rights. Oh, yes, God loves all people. He loves the sinner, but he does not love the sin. In fact, there are several places in the Bible that says these behaviors, if you have them, you will not be in the kingdom of God.
Traitors had a high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof from such, turn away. We just go through the motions, oh, we go there, we make the scene, but we're not really with it.
The media constantly pitches their right against the left. Neither side really believes in the God of the Bible.
The thesis is that the God of the Bible does not exist. That is a prevailing thesis in this nation.
Humankind, thus freed from the shackles of the God of the Bible, is entering a new period of enlightenment, they would say. News channels, such as CNN and Fox, base their programs on a moderator, who is supposedly all-wise and knowing, who interviews guests with opposing viewpoints on the various issues of the day.
Then viewers are challenged to decide for themselves who is right and who is wrong, thus forming a new synthesis.
Most people will say, well, I agree with some of what he's saying.
The others say, well, I agree with some of what this guy is saying. And a new synthesis is formed.
On many issues of the day, after reporting the views of the opposing sides, polls are conducted.
You are encouraged to call in, tell us what you think.
And the so-called majority of you is the new synthesis or dogma.
Well, 80% of Americans believe this. Are you going to go against 80% of the people?
If you don't go along with the majority, then you're labeled as intolerant, unenlightened, and out of step with the mainstream.
But in reality, this only leads to further division and confusion in the land.
As chaos and terrorism grows, people eventually are willing to sell their freedom for security.
So the government feels the role of Big Brother and tells everyone what to think.
And they pass laws, and the media reinforces.
Those who believe in God, especially fundamental Bible-believing Christians, must be stopped at all costs.
No wonder Christ states in Matthew 24, 9-14, you should be hated of all nations.
The media, in most cases, is biased against absolute standards and has been able to cast a dark shadow in the minds of the public on those who believe in God.
Truth is not derived from the Hegelian dialectic.
In God, there are no contradictions.
God is pure light, as you heard in the special music.
The light of the sun is upon me.
1 John chapter 1 says, In him there is no darkness. He is all light.
So here we are at this critical juncture.
Will you answer the call? Will you be on God's side?
Or will you be deceived by the Hegelian dialectic that leads to conflict, confusion, and every evil work?
Your greatest challenge is to choose to go the right way. God says, I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing.
Therefore, choose life that both you and your seed may live.
You can be free from fear, ignorance, superstition, and the dogmas of man.
If the suns shall set you free, you shall be free indeed.
You can know God's precious truths. You can know the purpose of human existence.
You can rule and reign with God and Christ and the saints in the kingdom of God.
The choice is up to each one of us.
