How Valuable Is Your Word?

As "Children of God" we bear the family name of God. In so doing, God's very Name is imprinted upon us. Scripture shows us that part of the Righteous Character of God is that He cannot lie. When He gives His Word, it is sure and secure. But what about His Children? When you and I give our word to do something, how secure is that? This sermon discusses the importance of keeping our word when we give it without playing "situational ethics". For a Child of God, who bears the Name of God, to go back on our word is to take the Name of God in Vain.
