The three young Jewish men, taken from Judah to Babylon, were faced with a serious situation. They were required by the king to bow to his idol or lose their lives. How would we answer? On a Bible Study format Sabbath service, pastor Philip Aust posed this question and combined it with Peter's admonition in 1 Pet 3:14-15. After discussing the need for God's people to be prepared to handle a situation like this, he broke the assembled congregation into groups whose responsibility was to prepare themselves to answer specific, prepared doctrinal questions.

Philip Aust serves the Atlanta and Buford, Georgia United Church of God Congregations. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from Ambassador College, a Master's Degree in Communication from California State University, Fullerton, and a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Oklahoma.
