Jesus said, he could do nothing by Himself; He could do only what He saw His Father doing, because whatever the Father did the Son would do also.
Christ was totally yielded to the will of His Father.
Jesus completely humbled Himself and remained faithful in doing His Father’s will all the way to until His death.
Jesus made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a Man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!” (Philippians 2:5-8).
We also need to follow that example!
