If New Testament Roman centurions could speak from the grave

Mentioned in the Bible, Roman centurions inspired both respect and fear in the hearts of the common people. They could be ruthless and they could be kind. They were a vital link in Rome’s jurisdiction of its empire, including Judea and they were immersed in Roman military training. But do we realize that their unique role in Gentile culture sometimes attracted Christ’s attention and even praise. Why? In this sermon Braden Veller will explain how our faith should match the high level of faith that centurions and other Gentile leaders displayed for God.
