I give a brief summary of the background and rich spiritual lessons this remarkable area of scripture affords us. Christ’s interaction with this oft-married Samaritan woman is ‘one for the Books’, particularly in light of how early this episode occurs in His ministry. It also makes us think about the miracle of our own calling and the process God uses with all of those He works with.

Leif Anderson

Leif is a manager of one of the divisions of his 100 year-old, family-owned business in which he works with his four brothers. Leif was ordained in 1976 and served congregations in the Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Calgary, Alberta areas. Since 1977 he has worked with congregations in central Minnesota. Most importantly, he has been married nearly 37 years to his wife Kathy. They are the proud parents of two married children and grandparents of two.
