The Importance of Being Clothed With Christ

As we approach the Spring Festivals there are many things to think about this time of year.  Christ was willing to empty Himself of His former position, become a human, live without sin, and then take the death penalty that rightfully belongs to each one of us.  When we don't repent of our sins we aren't showing Christ the honor that is due to Him.  When we repent of these sins we need to replace the sins we have repented of with the qualities of Christ.  We need to continually be working on overcoming.

Doug Wendt is a 1977 graduate of Ambassador College with a BS in Physical Education. His career included work as an electrician and General Contractor. Doug was ordained into the ministry in 2013 and  previously served congregations in Orlando, Jacksonville and Ocala, Florida. He now pastors the United Church of God congregations in St Petersburg and Tampa, Florida.
